Title: Terrible
Review: I have put together 2 desks, a tv stand, a buffet, 2 night stands, a dresser, 2 cube organizers, and 3 bookshelves before putting together this seat and this seat was the worst! The directions were terrible and worse yet, I have a hundred slivers in my hands and will definitely need to sand the seat and seal it before using or I’ll have slivers in my hind end too. Do yourself a favor and buy one already assembled, smooth and sealed. Worst purchase ever just to save a few dollars.

Title: Nicely Designed Stool for Bath/Shower
Review: This bench works great for use both inside and outside the shower and is designed to conveniently hold towels/accessories. The small size fits in the shower, it has a nice finish and an attractive design that looks nice as an accent piece. When not using it in the tub, I think it’s a perfect spot to keep folded cloths and/or to sit to dry off after a shower or bath.It seems like a very water resistent finish, and since I keep it dried off when it’s outside the shower, I have no worries about moisture or mildew ever being an issue. The contoured seat is roomy and very comfortable….and it’s lightweight, sturdy and easy to assemble (with hardware and clear instructions included). The color/design and dimensions match the description and the perfect width and height.

Title: Decent bench, but tough to assemble and starting to mold
Review: This bench was challenging to assemble alone… with a second set of hands, it might be a bit more manageable. It looks good and is sturdy, but after a few months of use mine has started to mold. You might think that a molding bench would be cause for a 1-star review, but I’ll credit that I live in a particularly humid climate and people with better climate control might not have this same problem. It was good enough while it lasted, but it won’t be lasting much longer for me…

Title: HORRIBLE assembly, parts that won’t fit, splintered wood… cute when finished.
Review: I wanted to love this bench. And, once assembled, it seems sturdy and well-supportive as a shower bench. It also fits okay in my small apartment shower (though, with very little clearance room to spare, so be warned that it is a TIGHT fit if you have a smaller bath/shower).I think once you get it assembled, it is actually a good, useful piece of furniture and very, very helpful for those of us who can’t stand for long periods in the shower due to medical conditions. It is also much prettier than a medical bench, making it a cute aesthetic piece in the bathroom if you need to take it out of the shower. The added shelf underneath is also helpful for storing things or simply keeping your essentials close at hand. Definitely something I would use both in the shower and outside of it.All of that said… the assembly process is HORRIBLE. Rather than using regular cams, this used strange drop-in little pieces where the circle hole had to be aligned juuuust right with the screw, making it really difficult to get assembled. The cam-like pieces didn’t fit in the hole properly and would fall out or turn as soon as you got it in, and since you can’t see if it’s aligned, it took several attempts to even get it close to the right fit. While there are only a handful of assembly steps, the ones that do exist are SO infuriatingly frustrating that this almost never makes it to assembled/cute aesthetic shower chair.Additionally, much of the wood came split or splintered, and I got several cuts/scrapes/splinters while trying to assemble it. Parts of the wood came broken, chipped off, or completely unsanded despite the wood having a finish/stain on it to protect it. I worry about the long-term ability for it to hold up to a shower as a result, because I fear there is exposed wood that will mold/rot.Finally, some of the parts that were pre-assembled had the holes “backward,” where the larger bit for the screw to go in didn’t exist, so the screw provided was not able to go all the way in, and would immediately fall out. This makes me question if it is as sturdy as it feels when sitting on it, since two of the screws wouldn’t even go all the way into the piece properly (and one didn’t go into the piece at all). For me, I feel like this is a hazard that makes the whole thing difficult to use.I really love how it looks finished, but that assembly and the snaggy/splintery wood makes me rethink if a medical chair would’ve been the better option.

Title: Solid and Sturdy Shower Stool
Review: This is a very nice shower stool or bench. It is made of sturdy bamboo, and it has a nice bit of weight and solidity to it. The stool is easy to assemble, and does not wobble or feel loose once it is all put together. The material is easy to clean, and it is a nice size for the shower or to use as a bench or shelf in the bathroom. As real wood, it has an attractive appearance to it, and is comfortable to sit on.

Title: Poor quality
Review: The jiggest thing is that the wood isn’t all smooth – there are areas and bits that are rough and I’ve gotten a couple of splints putting it together. I’ll have to put a towel or something over it because I’m not risking splinters in my bum.The holes for some of the screws are too big, so the screws go in and just spin. I had to use wood glue and a prayer to keep it from falling apart. I doubt it’ll last long. Not sure how rough wood I going to hold up in a shower, but guess I’ll find out. Not holding my breath, though.Overall very disappointed and this will likely be better used for firewood. Will not buy a wooden one again. Guess the ugly plastic ones will have to do
