Title: perfect motion detector for monitoring elderly movements at night
Review: These have been most helpful. I needed these to make sure that I would know when my mom with dementia got up in the night. These worked out perfectly, we were able to angle the detector so that it only picked up her motion if she went past her dresser on the way out the door, and I could to put the receiver right next to my bed, most helpful since we need to keep a fan on most of the year since she is always freezing. Volume control and so many ring tones a definite plus. Also very nice that you can turn off the lights on the motion detector piece so mom doesn’t even know its there.

Review: Paired it and it literally won’t stop chiming. Reset it and it still chimes continuously. Put the sensor in another room in complete darkness and went in the room with the chime. It just chimed over and over.Set up the second one and it works fine so clearly it’s defective.

Review: They can be a bit wild! The zone is not what you would expect. And they can go off with no reason that I ever found. They do scare off the Nextdoor neighbors cat! & that keeps my dogs from barking :)I like them, but I don’t know that I would recommend them to a friend.

While I am still skeptical of the quality of the actual items, I am very happy for the great customer service. Much appreciated.ORIGINAL MSG: I bought two of these. I had one in operation, then it suddenly died. I had a back up for that very purpose, and a month after using that one it suddenly died, mid bell exactly the same as the first one did. Very disappointing.
