Title: Audiologist & Excellent Customer Support
Review: I recently bought the BlaidsX Micro hearing aid as a gift. She loves it! I asked for her opinion. I’ve pasted her email below, organized it in “sections” for easier reading. This is what she sent:Honestly? I’m really impressed! THANK YOU! 🤗Size and WeightIt’s smaller than I expected, like, almost invisible when I wear it, which is exactly what I wanted. It feels light too, so after a few minutes, I basically forget it’s even there.SetupI was a little nervous about was setting it up. I’ve heard stories about hearing aids that are complicated to program and they just give up, altogether. This one was surprisingly easy. It has a simple guide, and they offer live support to walk you through everything if you need it – I needed it! Haha. I called and within about 15 minutes, I had it set up and customized to my hearing preferences. The lady made sure that I understood how to use it and told me to call back if I find that I need help to adjust it after using it for a little while.PerformanceIt’s crystal clear. Voices are sharp without sounding harsh, and background noise is toned down but sounds natural instead of muted. I’ve used it in restaurants, on walks, watching TV, etc and it’s done well every timeBatteryIt charges fast and the battery life is good.Overall, I’d totally recommend (the BlaidsX Micro) to anyone looking for a discreet, easy-to-use hearing aid with great customer support. They made the whole experience a lot less stressful.

Title: Not a bad option for an OTC solution.
Review: When it comes to fit and function, there is no match for going to your friendly audiologist and getting devices that are very specific to you and your needs. Expect to pay a lot for that. That said, for moderate hearing loss, these will buy you some time and allow you to enjoy dinner with friends and small gatherings again. The fit was quite comfortable and secure. These are more discreet than over the ear type options. If you have problems with dexterity, they could be hard to handle, insert and manipulate. No worse than any others of similar design. Otherwise, they’re pretty functional. The device controls were intuitive and simple to operate. These are not rechargeable like some of the other options we’ve tried which to me is a disadvantage, however batter drain was not really an issue with these. For this price though, I’d go with something rechargeable instead. If you have someone who isn’t tech savvy it was take some assistance getting these set up with the app. The user manual is good but not great. The case is small and durable and easy to put in a tote or purse or whatever else you might have. They didn’t pick up as much background noise as some of the other amplifiers we’ve tried, but they’re not perfect. That said, I’m happy. I use them more in a quiet environment with a TV or one other person, rather than a crowd or group settings so perhaps these are better for one or the other and I just don’t know it.

Title: Product did not work as described. Support was sluggish and communication was not proactive.
Review: Bluetooth was hard to connect & once connected, it continued to drop. Adjusting the mode was a hard and lengthy process. Battery indicator was faulty, both app & hearing aids told me that I needed batteries about every 8 – 12 hrs. Right ear periodically squeaked, and people around heard it. Support was sluggish. A warranty replacement had identical characteristics. You purchase hearing aids to hear better… battery life beeping, buzzing and inability to connect the Bluetooth to change the mode made hearing hard! This product was supposed to improve the quality of your life… This product detracted from it.

Title: I regularly use hearing aids
Review: BlaidsX Micro CIC Hearing AidsI’m a senior who uses hearing aids daily. Here are a few things that stand out to me:1. The app needs work. It is not intuitive in some places and it often says it is disconnected and asks to reconnect– way too many times.2. Pairing to the iPhone took too long. It first paired the right but didn’t give me an opportunity to pair the left. I had to start over.3. Even though it is supposed to be pretty invisible in the ear, you can easily see the two little wires sticking out that you use to insert and remove the aids. (Even using the smallest domes the body of these aids aren’t close to “invisible.”) If I had long hair that covered these, that might be okay, but I don’t. I would not go out in public wearing these because I think people would be noticing the wires sticking out. I don’t care that they know I wear hearing aids, but wires sticking out is a little weird looking. Again, longer hair, which I don’t have, would cover them, so it may not be an issue for many.4. The manual. They are making a product for use by mostly seniors. Why should I have to get out a magnifying glass to read the manual? The print is tiny, discouraging me from reading more than the bare necessities. I do have glasses, and they are current. The print is too small.5. Batteries. In this day and age, I don’t want batteries, I want rechargeable. In all fairness, if you read the info very carefully you will see that batteries are required, but that was not obvious in the info was not obvious, and frankly unexpected so I didn’t look for it.6. The hearing test was wonky. It didn’t allow me to do it for two aids at first, so I had to redo it. You couldn’t just add the second. The audiogram it gives comes with zero explanation, which is probably not a good idea, but of course you can look it up elsewhere.7. Can I hear with these? Yes. Absolutely. I don’t really have any complaints about their basic function, which is hearing. If that is all that is important to you, these may do just fine.My thoughts? : Just okay, not great.

Review: Works great. Very comfortable. I really like all the adjustments you can make. Easy to use with your smart phone. Great value. Rechargeable would be nice but the battery is easy to replace. Best one i have tried so far.
