Title: Bruised me
Review: This thing inflates WAY too much.Thought maybe I was being “too sensitive” or something. It hurt a LOT. Every time.Then I saw the bruises this morning. The marks look like… “sucker bites,” more than impact or pressure bruises. (Big one on the front, small one on the back of my arm.)It *seems* as though the feeling like this thing is trying to remove my arm like a baker cutting dough with a loop of string… wasn’t as far fetched as I thought.Tried my father’s BP cuff by a different brand today and while it’s slightly uncomfortable, it’s uncomfortable the way the ones at the doctor’s office are uncomfortable.THIS one has done visible damage to the soft tissues in my arm. My arm is small and I tried adjusting it 5 ways from Sunday thinking I just did something wrong.It’s not user error. It’s the cuff. Or at least the one I received. Maybe it’s just defective or calibrated incorrectly. But I’d hate to see what it does to a larger arm.There really should be a setting to adjust how much this thing inflates or a built in sensor (or a better one) or something. Idk.Besides trying to crush my arm, this thing was nice enough. Good display. Decent quality. Feels fairly sturdy. Easy to store. Nice storage bag. (Too bad it’s secretly a medieval torture device.)Only other complaint: You can’t access the history without it automatically running the BP check first. You can’t just turn it on to look at the history. Like, if you got interrupted before you had a chance to log the reading and the screen timed out and turned itself off.

Review: I started tracking my blood pressure after my annual checkup and this device made it simple to stick with it. I keep it on the kitchen shelf so I remember to test after breakfast.
