Title: Decent sound; skimpy instructions and confusing controls
Review: I found these headphones delivered on good sound isolation and decent fidelity, if a little heavy on the bass. If you have not used noise cancelling headphones before, be aware that they fit tightly and so can become a little hot or uncomfortable after long use. This is a necessary tradeoff. They are also a little heavy at 9.6 oz. The carrying case is nice to have, but at 9x9x2 inches is quite large to be convenient for air travel. A little pouch might have been more useful. It charged and paired quickly. A criticism is that the 3 onboard control buttons (all on the right side) look and feel much the same. It will be hard to remember which is which and what the functions are (press once, press 2x, press 3x, long press, etc.) One is for on/off and for answering calls AND for stopping OR skipping music tracks; one is for volume adjustment; the 3rd is for using a “voice assistant” (on your phone apparently, like Alexa or Bixby) or for turning “ANC” on or off, but ANC is not defined in the very brief and tiny instructions that require a magnifying glass to read. If you must know it stands for Active Noise Cancellation. This is supposed to be good, but when I tried turning it on and off to see if it would “drown out” a radio playing nearby, I did not find it very effective. Mainly, I noticed boosted mid and hi range with ANC on.
