Title: Love It!
Review: I tend to get roaches in my apartment due to where I live and spiders from time to time. I came across this product and order it and got to use it a few times now and it is great. Some roaches are really fast, so you may have to chase them, but it makes it cleaner and easier to capture and dispose of them or release them back in the wild. Kids will love this for capturing insects and getting a close look. If you love being out in nature, this is great to bring along with you. The handle is on the shorter side, so you may need a ladder to reach what you are capturing. This is a great value for the money and entertaining if you light capturing insects. It is plastic so it should hold up well.

Title: Carson BugView 5X Magnifying Glass – A Fantastic Hands-On Learning Tool for All Ages
Review: The Carson BugView 5X Magnifying Glass has turned out to be one of the most engaging educational tools I’ve picked up. Whether you’re using it with kids who are curious about the natural world or you’re an adult who enjoys observing insects up close, this bug catcher makes learning incredibly accessible. The built-in 5X magnifier offers a clear, detailed look at insects, allowing you to examine features like wings, antennae, patterns, and behavior that you’d never notice with the naked eye. It’s a perfect way to spark conversations about biology, habitats, ecosystems, and how different species interact with their environment. Kids get a hands-on science experience, and adults can appreciate the level of detail and discovery it brings. The quick-release catcher design is simple and humane, making it easy to safely trap bugs without harming them. This not only teaches respect for living creatures but also encourages responsible observation—something useful in both classrooms and backyard explorations. What I really like is how versatile it is:• Great for outdoor nature walks, science lessons, or backyard exploration• Useful indoors for safely relocating spiders or insects• Helps build observational skills and curiosity• Lightweight, sturdy, and designed for repeated useOverall, the Carson BugView is an excellent educational tool that turns everyday encounters with insects into meaningful learning moments. It’s fun, informative, and perfect for anyone who loves to explore the tiny world around us.

Title: Gecko catching machine! Worth every penny!
Review: Worth every penny! Living in the desert we get a lot of geckos in our house. I love them, they help with the bugs, but if they stay in our house they will likely get smushed or become a play toy for one of our dogs.. I’ve been using a glass and paper to try and rescue them and take them outside, but that doesn’t always work and sometimes there are injuries sustained in the process. This device is life altering! Just came across a gecko and finally got to use it. It made taking the guy outside so quick, easy, and painless for both of us. The magnifier is alright, but the way this thing functions with the little sliding door is perfection!

Title: Fantastic product! This Bug Catcher Works so well
Review: I am a catch and release kind of person. I can’t bear to squash or squish anything because the only thing an insect truly owns is their life and who am I to deprive them of that. That being said, I don’t want to cohabitate with them. It is very difficult to sneak up on an insect with a cup, especially spiders or insects that hop. They always seem to sense the cup coming and it becomes a mad chase that I don’t always win. THIS Bug Catcher is incredible, it is clear & they don’t seem to notice it coming down on top of them, the sliding bottom moves easily to trap them and to release the insects outdoors where they can be free to live their little insect lives.

Title: Great, but use a card!
Review: This little trap is great, and helped me capture and relocate two lady black widows (one with an egg sac). Black widows are native in California, so I released them in a secluded, human-free woodland. The Carson bug trap works great at trapping the intended bug/spider, but as shown in the photo, the orange plastic piece buckles inward, which means that sliding it closed on a bug or spider will squish the intended guest. This is easily solved by using a firm postcard, CD lid, or other flat object. Just slide the card in under the guest, and then tip the device, together with card, backwards, so that the critter falls into the clear part, and now quickly slide the orange door closed, before they get their bearings. Now, you might be saying, “at this point, why don’t I just use a jar?” But the advantages the Carson trap holds over a jar are significant: 1) you have the handle, providing both distance and agility; and 2) you have a small, rectangular trap size, which can get into the tight spots that critters like to head for when pursued, and that a jar can never quite manage.I wanted to give this five stars, because it is so very useful, and I am so happy to no longer have those two huge black widows camping on my front doorstep, but the reality is that the door part could use some re-engineering, so it is only a smidgeon away from perfect.Nonetheless, if you like to take pix of small critters, this handy tool, combined with the aforementioned user-provided card, will keep them in place long enough to get a few snaps. And if you are using it to get those critters out of the house, I kindly ask that you relocate, rather than kill your captives—at least those that are native to your area. Finally, as a PSA, I just want to say to those of you who encounter wolf spiders, in particular, they are NOT poisonous, and extremely unlikely to bite, so please don’t hurt them. Thank you!

Review: I absolutely love this product! I bought one a couple years ago and finally they had stock for a 6-pack so I’ve ordered more! They are so handy for picking up little critters in the house to put outside without harming them (or yourself) – I now have a couple around the house and bought extra to gift to others including my godsons 💗

Review: Da ich Spinnen nicht töte, ist das ein prima Utensil, die 8beiner nach draußen zu befördern. Das gleiche ist auch bei Wespen der Fall. Mit etwas Geduld.

Review: Bought these for the fall “Mothageddon” we just had. It’s great for when you don’t want to smash a big bug and get all that gore and dark gunk on your white walls and carpet. Also great for catching and releasing beneficial bugs like spiders & honey bees. Plus, if you have kids, it’s an educational toy (also note that drunk adults seem to get a kick out of it too)!I bought the 6-pack to give some away for Christmas stocking stuffers for my squeamish friends that don’t like killing bugs.
