Review: surprised ar how small the microscope is, BUT, I was equally surprised at how good it worked.. I need to learn to be more steady: the images are very clear

Title: It is a pocket microscope and it works.
Review: Great for pocket science, terrible for assuaging the fears of hypochondriacs.Easy to use; just dial it in like any other microscope. You will need to supply your own slides, however. Zero stability, your hand will jerk it around a bit because it’s so light. Would be cool if it had an integrated camera for micro photography. Considering the size of cameras and wifi chips and all that, I bet that’d be both easy and cheap to do these days.

Title: Stellar performance for a reasonable price
Review: This is a review for the MicroBrite Plus 60x-120x (MM-300) from Carson Optical. The MicroBrite MM-300 is just the ticket for gardening and exploring. It’s lightweight but substantial and has a nice, solid feel.Like all of the more powerful small scopes, you need to tinker with it a bit to get the best magnification, and at the highest magnification you will also benefit by being still. I’ve used more expensive scopes and several natural light scopes over the years, and this LED light scope puts them to shame. The results are excellent from full sunlight to dark. The grip is quite ergonomic for such a small device. You can use the focusing ring with the same hand you’re holding it with, and you’ll need to use your non-dominant hand to adjust the zooming dial when needed. The LED switch is perfectly located for a quick press of the thumb. This handheld is also perfect for those of us who choose to avoid button batteries. I wanted an AA battery device because our local stores are often out of the button battery I need. The battery compartment opens easily and the single battery can be accessed in a snap. (AA battery not included). There is an indent on the top to weave in a lanyard thread. It’s portable but not really pocket-sized unless you stow it in a cargo-type pocket. It’s about the size of a deck of cards and twice as thick. I keep it in my gardening apron pocket, in my birding vest pocket, or around my neck with a lanyard. When it’s on the lanyard I use it more often just because it’s there. It’s useful and fun.Whether you’re looking at a praying mantis casing, diagnosing spider mites, checking herb for readiness, or exploring the micro world with kids, this is an excellent portable microscope for the money. If this review was helpful to you in any way, I would appreciate it if you’d please check “yes” below. Thanks!

Title: Great for viewing stationary objects
Review: Initially, I really liked this microscope and it’s definitely great for a lot of things. I purchased it to identify pest issues on my plants and it’s a great size for that. The magnification is excellent and as long as you can find the object you’re looking for in the viewfinder, the focus is also great. The issue is that it can be extremely hard to locate objects and if you pick up the microscope even the slightest bit to shift it to another section you lose focus. The viewing range is very small so you need to essentially pass exactly over the object you’re looking for in order to find it. Trying to identify pests that move is not ideal with this microscope for this reason. Ultimately I think I may return this for something with a slightly wider view because it can be a bit frustrating to use for the purposes I need it for. However, if you’re looking for something portable for great close-ups of things that stay in one place this would be a great option!

Review: recently got into sharpening knifes, and it became a rather slippery slope. became rather good, easily reaching shaving sharp, or razor sharp, however you wanna call it. but i felt like i wanted to go further. And while you can see if a knife is sharp with its performance, the real magic starts in the microscopic realm.i was really skeptical about this cheap 18€ microscope. ordered it ready to just throw it in my pile of cheap “Teemo” quality items. but man, this is a impressively good product. for my use its near perfect (perfect would be if the image wasn’t mirrored) it takes some getting used to, but when you get the hang of it, i would almost say, best 18€ ive spent in years.now, if you want a mobile microscope, inspecting leafs on the go, without cutting them off, and placing them on a flat solid surface.. this is not the product for you. it does indeed require a solid platform to get a clean image. but if that doesnt bother you, you wont be disapointed. 10/10 for me, as a knife sharpener. (Yes you can absolutely get better, but not without it needing a permanent spot to place it)i doubt the zoom is 60x – 120x tho. the min / max seems too close. but the focusing is easy (can zoom and focus the image 1 handed) tested it on a few things, single hairs, phone pixels, and a nude of my ex’s BF (still couldnt find the PP)Honestly, i reccomed this product, and at the price, if it breaks, i would buy it again (maybe multiple as gifts since they are dirt cheap for what you get)
