Title: Clean out unanswered msgs !!
Review: I think it would have been great but…easy for me to set up & I am very non-geek. I rarely use my cell but have elected to end my landline forcell as a full-time phone. But I needed the amplifier for my large 2 story home (I will not have ph attached to me!) However, I could not stop the flashing! I tried everything to figure out what was wrong (including deleting all dismissed ph calls in past 2 yrs)but finally called Amazon help. I had extreme difficulty in understanding the agent. He talked w/others & finally said I needed to send it back & proceeded to send me the instructions. I then returned it but although I told the agent I wanted a replacement, not refund, not happening. Next day after returning, I realized that since I blocked texts (I did not want) there were probably some unaddressed so I checked & yes! That was probably why continued flashing as I failed to clean them out. So, just re-ordered!

Review: If the phone dies or is power-cycled, the ringer has to be re-added. This makes it useless for the elderly.

Title: MUST Be Able to Hear Higher Pitch Sounds, Setup/Paired Easily, Loud Ring, Clear Speaker Phone
Review: I was so excited to see this product. A few months ago, I had car trouble on the way home from work and tried to reach my husband early in the morning. I called over and over again but he couldn’t hear his phone ring even though it’s kept right next to the bed. I’d noticed recently that he was now missing some of my calls. So I called a tow truck. I now knew his hearing loss had progressed to the point where it was a safety concern so I began searching for options.My husband has had hearing loss for decades but it’s gotten worse the past couple years. With his loss, he cannot hear the higher tones, has a bigger problem now hearing women’s voices. He also cannot hear the shrill or sharper tones at the high end of the frequency scale. And hearing aids will not help, we explored that option over our decades together. Surprisingly, he can however hear quite well when we talk on the telephone.This is an amazing product… just not for him. From a hearing person’s perspective, the ring is very loud and the voice over the speaker option is so very clear! I was surprised how clear it was and my husband could hear what I was saying over this device (my voice is not at the high pitch end). On the caller’s end, the voice sounds a little hollow but that is so unimportant to me. I could hear him perfectly fine. Setup was super fast and it paired easily with his phone.I really wanted this to work, even tested it one more time just now before writing my review but he slept through the ring. So my opinion from the perspective of someone who’s lived with a person with a hearing deficit for over 40 years and also trains deaf dogs to high levels of communication…The person with the hearing loss must be able to hear high pitch tones or it may not be of use. Real loud does not always equal easier to hear. What I would love to see with this device is the option to select the current tone but also a deeper, bass tone… or maybe a few other tones, even a dog barking. :)So IF you or your loved one CAN hear higher pitched sounds like smoke alarms, this may very well be a life changing product for you. You can hear the tone this ringing device offers in the brief clip I’ve shared. I cannot bring myself to give it lower than a 5 star rating to dissuade a purchase simply because the specific tone doesn’t work for my loved one. I can see it’s potential benefits for others.

Review: I had high hopes for this device. The device seams to work fine when someone calls. It is loud and flashes lights letting you know someone is calling. If you answer the phone all is great. If you don’t answer the phone it will continue to flash and make noise until you physically go and press the end button. That is very annoying, It would be fine to flash to let you know someone called but the continued ringing gets old fast.
