Title: Works on my dad’s cheapo no-brand senior flip phone
Review: This was a breeze: screw in antenna, plug in to socket, & connect via bluetooth. The ring is very loud, the first time it made me jump. The best part is you can answer from the base and talk directly at it. In other words, you don’t even need to touch your phone. That’s beyond helpful for people like my father whose fingers barely open his flip phone. The sound through the base is not quite as clear as on the phone, but I turned the volume up on the base and that helped. Two surprising notes: 1) Unbelievably it works with my dad’s old cheap pay-as-you-go flip phone! The instructions talk about Android and iPhones, so I worried it wouldn’t work for a true, simple senior phone. Wrong! All I had to do to pair them was a quick “reset” on the base (described in the instructions, you insert their pin into a hole on the base and push multiple times) and – boom – it paired with my cheapo phone. 2) It actually came with the the charging brick (ie, a plug), which is a shock because these days no one includes them to make it less expensive (or applicable for other countries). We’re not using it for message alerts, and anyway for some reason they seem to discourage this. They must not be confident in their product? No biggie to us since my dad doesn’t “do” messages. The only bad thing I’ve found so far is if you answer a call from your phone and you get “too close” to the device (I was rooms away), it automatically transfers the call to the base, so then you have to start talking to the base. There has to be a way to transfer the call back to your cell phone but I haven’t figured it out yet. Other than that I really recommend it. You don’t even have to be a senior to need it – it helps me hear the ring all over the house so I don’t have to worry about having my (android) cell phone on my hip anymore. Now I wish there were a smaller battery version… It’s 4 or 5 stars depending on whether the above quirks bother you, but I’m rounding up because of how helpful it’s been to my dad’s life.

Title: Excellent Alert System for the Hearing Impaired – Works Great for My Daughter
Review: I bought the VigorKeeper Cell Phone Ringer Amplifier for my hearing-impaired daughter to help her stay aware of phone calls, text messages, and app notifications — and I’m really happy with the results so far.Setup was straightforward and fairly easy. My daughter is pretty decent with technology, so it didn’t take long at all. From unpacking to getting it paired via Bluetooth 5.3, the whole process took under a minute. The packaging was clean and easy to open, and there was an audible beep upon plugging it in, which was a nice touch to confirm power and alert readiness. The sound is loud — up to 116dB — and clear, which is perfect for her needs. The red and blue flashing lights are also bright and attention-grabbing. When she gets a text, it continues flashing until she acknowledges it, which is extremely helpful. We also tested Gmail app notifications, and those triggered the alerts as expected. The one-touch answer/decline feature is a nice bonus and makes it even more accessible. So far, it’s doing exactly what we hoped: keeping her connected and aware of her phone activity without missing important messages.✅ Pros:Loud, clear alert soundsFlashing red/blue lights grab attentionWorks with texts, calls, and app notificationsEasy setup and pairingResponsive one-touch call control⚠️ Legal Disclaimer:This review is based on our personal experience using the product. Title: Does what you’d like it to do pretty well… Good in a noisy place or for the hard of hearing…
Review: There are mostly ups with this ringer, and one or two small downs. On the plus side it is pretty darned loud when a call comes in. I’ve set it up in my garage for when I’m working there, and even if I’m drilling or sawing, I can hear the ring and see the flashing light. The voice quality when you answer is… OK…. Good enough for a conversation, and since I’m always putting my phone down somewhere in the garage, having this as an option is very useful. It’s also pretty good at reminding you texts or other messages have arrived. It doesn’t make any noise, which I would have liked, but the blinking lights do a pretty good job of telling you there’s a message, so it’s not a deal breaker. On the downside it’s not quite configured to use an IPhone. You can sync your Apple product to the ringer, but if you unplug or reset it, you have to re-sync. This isn’t the case with Android, and for me it’s only a minor hassle, but it’s still something you’d think would be easy to fix. When I ordered this is was around $60, which isn’t an arm or a leg, but for a basic tool such as this struck me as a bit much. Looking around, however, it seems other offerings of a similar nature are at least as much, or even more, so I suppose I’m just cheap :)All in all a decent product that has a place in a noisy environment or in the living room of someone with some hearing issues.
