Title: 2 Quirks Make This Unit Not Practical
Review: While this may be a good device for some, there are a couple of warnings in the instructions (and how the unit operated) which were showstoppers for my wife’s iPhone.1) The device will continue to ring until you physically hang up on it… even if you answer the phone and then hang up, the device will continue to ring. That means that, if the device is in another part of the house, you have to go there and physically hang it up on each and every call.2) Although Android will reconnect with the Bluetooth on the device if it has been turned off and then back on, with the iPhone, you have to go to the Bluetooth settings and reconnect it.Both of the above were show-stoppers for my wife and her iPhone.

Title: WARNING – Do not order this item
Review: This product along with the seller is absolutely horrible. I purchased this item on March 24, 2025. Five months later it has stopped working. Contacting the Seller is a waste of time. My dad is elderly, cannot hear his phone ring and lives alone. This item is important and now looks like I have lost our money. In addition, I also purchased 3 year insurance coverage through Asurion and am being told I must contact Seller because it should be under manufacturers warranty.

Title: Needs improvement in layout.
Review: This volume booster for the ringer sounds of a wireless phone was on time, adequately packaged, and was delivered unscathed with all of the needed parts meeting my unpacking inventory namely the antenna, power cord, and the needed power supply for the device to work, a familiar 110V/20V AC converter that proveds 5V DC at ! amp.The device paired very easily with my Android Moto G Force Phone. No complaints. Takes about one minute from the time you plug the power cord in, observe that the device is active, open tools, select connected devices, pair new device.Went right along without a hitch. The layout on the device needs improvement. It is clearly marked and everthing functions perfectly but it causes a mental coinflict. Part of it may be the difference how writing is read. Right to left or as for me Left to Right. The conflict is not visual but it is mental. To take a call is a positive action marked plus and taken on the far right. That would be a good layout. Not the case with this neat little hamburger sized Bluetooth connected extension.Rejecting a call is a negative brain reaction and should not be confused with the positive of accepting a call.A simple switch of the button in the circuit would end the conflict between mechanicsal position and mental positioning. The really elderly people would benefit by that. Keep in mind that many of those folks have impaired vision along with reduced hearing abilities.(see images)I really dont think the loudness of the device is anything to rave about…however the advantage is this.It can be placed in a central fixed location where it can be heard and used to answer and end a call.I would suggest on a table by a favorite recliner or club chair. With both the phone and device present while taking that little nap, the ringing is quite an awakening concert.Theo device has four rubber disk feet that keep it from sliding. Is tested to the extreme and it was a stick and stay. A good feature. Good for the finish of a fine table or stand, and the extra assurance that the weight of a power cord is not going to cause the unit to slip. There is no battery in the device it is grid powered. So a Senior does not have the responsibility to keep it charged. As it must be plugged in to function that puts it in the ready to go mode at all times. Of course you could have a battery bank on hand in the event of a power failure. The sound quality is reasonably good. I tested it on friends and did a comparison with my more costly Nutronics 20.The the report from a sound critic was that the audio was a fine point better on the Nutronics device. Not enought difference to offset overall value. So it is in need of a couple of design changes in the physical layout and end mental confusion over plus and minus thought processes. Easy to do.The layout of the three position slide switch for calls messaging and all functions is perfect, no changes needed. If the improvement in design is made, the device would command a full Five Stars from this reviewer but for nowFour stars shall suffice. An upgrade to the chip would make it possible to pair it with a phone and a PC simultaneously. That would be a great advantage and an assurance that you would not miss a VOIP call.It works OK as is but for a wireless phone only. It is my opinion that it does need those changes in layout to beto be top end at the price.

Title: One’s meat; another’s poison
Review: Although it is reputedly 116 db, I find it difficult to hear without my hearing assist devices. One feature that turns out to be a real positive is that it will continue to ring, after the call is completed, until manually turned off. This actually benefits me in that if I cannot hear the ring during the night, the continuous ringing gives me a better chance of maybe awakening and at least knowing someone was trying to reach me. I can then check the cell phone for calls. One review found this a negative. One man’s meat can be another’s poison. I still need something louder, but will try this out.
