Title: Good for bass deafness
Review: Must say these are great so far. As someone with xs ear canals these are perfect. They slide right in the canal and fit snug. They do itch slightly (only complaint). They are extremely easy to work with although changing settings can be a bit challenging at times. These make the sound of voices more into the treble range. I have bass deafness so anything in lower range sounds like I’m trying to hear it through a barrier. These cleared that up and I can understand words a lot better. I’ve tried several different types including Audien and these are a world better. For the price I highly recommend.

Title: Very discreet appearance
Review: These hearing aids are very small and discreet in appearance. You’re able to set/adjust the volume from the case for each piece. These do a nice job of capturing sound and work well. Simple easy to follow directions are included for setup.

Title: Can’t be seen, very nice!
Review: I’m new to hearing aids, so I’ve been trying a few out to find what works best for me.These are practically invisible, barely noticeable when they are in the ear. That’s good thing! And they fit snuggly, too, which is obviously a must. They’re pretty comfortable. Like with earbuds, you can easily adjust it to work in different sound settings by just tapping it.As mentioned by others, a drawback is that they must be in the charging station to adjust the volume. Not a huge deal, but a weird inconvenience.Overall, though, they’re good quality and the battery lasts a while.

Title: Very very small and discrete, good sound quality
Review: These hearing aids are very small. If you are looking for discreet hearing aids, these are the ones. They fit in the ear comfortable and are hardly noticeable. In exchange for being so small, there are a couple of downsides. To adjust the volume, you need to return the hearing aid to the case. That’s not a deal-breaker since once set, you shouldn’t need to adjust the volume. The hearing aids can be set to different room sound types. That’s done by tapping on your ear similarly to how Samsung Galaxy Buds can be adjusted. There is a bit of a learning curve to be able to tap correctly to change the sound type.Likely due to the small size, these don’t have an app for customizing the sound for your particular hearing loss issues. If you need sound customization, these aren’t for you. But, if you want extremely discreet hearing aids, these are the ones.

Title: Small & Comfortable to ware Invisible In Ear OTC Hearing aids
Review: These Ceretone Invisible In The Ear Over the Counter Hearing Aids are small about the size of a dime. They Come with Small , Med and Large Ear Tips allowing me to get the perfect fit in my ear. The instructions included are very detailed and easy for me to follow. The Compact Charging Case is easy for me to carry and has a Built in Battery that can recharge the devices a few times on a full charge before needing to be plugged in using the USB-C cable. Volume level can only be set in the case. I like that it is is easy to set and I can visually see the level with the Hearing Aids in the case. 4 different environmental background noise modes can be selected with the units in the case or by double tapping your ear with a Open palm. Open palm double tapping works good for me and it should be noted that just tapping the hearing Aid itself and not the whole ear has no effect. I have tried several different types of OTC hearing aids and these are the first I can actually use effectively. I only wish they would have included Bluetooth mode.

Title: Near “life-like” sound, small and mostly “invisible”, FDA registered, NO app needed; but some issues
Review: These are “real” hearing aids as they are FDA registered as required. I have tried and reviewed a substantial number of hearing aids and these are my first pair IIC (Invisible In Canal) aids. Here are my observations and experiences using them.PROS:↑ FDA REGISTERED – In short, these hearing aids are FDA registered (not approved, etc.) as required; for SOURCES / PROOF see “FDA REGISTERED SOURCES / PROOF” toward the end of this review.↑ EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY – While there is always a “break-in period” for hearing aids, to me these offered near “life-like” sound right out of the box; they are near the tops in this category from my tests.↑ MOSTLY “INVISIBLE” – These IIC (Invisible In Canal) styled aids were invisible to others from all angles except when looking directly at my ear canal opening; very discrete and comfortable.↑ NO APP NEEDED – This is a big plus for me for 1) personal data security, and because 2) apps come and go, may not be well-supported, etc., so features requiring use of that app can “go away”.↑ FIT / COMFORT – These aids fit very well going partially in the ear canal with just a thin plastic strand (with a small bead to grab to assist removing). They were very comfortable and felt securely in place.↑ NO FEEDBACK – At no time did I experience and feedback (screeching / squealing). This usually occurs if an incorrect size of silicone ear pad is used and or if the mic is covered.↑ BATTERY / CHARGING – This is easy to do as the aids fit well in the charging spot and are magnetically drawn in to place; just make sure the (clearly marked) right aid is on the right and the left on the left. The aids are listed to last 20 hours, and when fully charged, the charging / storage case can provide an additional 3 charges (another 60 hours), i.e., 80 hours without the need to plug in using a charging cable.CONTROL USE (MIXED):↔ POWER – The aids power on when removed from the charging / storage case and on when they are returned to the case. Convenient but I prefer to also be able to manually turn aids of and on.↔ VOLUME – To change the volume the aids must be placed in the case. Quick presses on the corresponding right or left aid buttons switches between 6 volume levels. Easy enough, but I prefer being able to change volume wearing the aids (and not needing to remove the aids).↑ & ↓ 4 HEARING PROGRAMS – I like that there are 4 hearing programs (Standard, Restaurant, Outdoor, and Tinnitus Masking). Other than Tinnitus Masking, I could not distinguish between the other 3 (that all sounded very good); this should change after wearing them some time. Changing between modes is listed as being done by putting the aids in the case and pressing on the corresponding right or left aid buttons for about 3 seconds. HOWEVER, the instructions state modes can be switched by quickly double-tapping the device with your finger. I tried this method multiple times touching the exposed side and ends and was not successful at all.…AND WHILE NOT LISTED – With a list price of close to $400 US at the time I ordered these hearing aids I have come to expect the inclusion of Bluetooth to handle calls, listen to music, stream, etc., directly through the aids.OVERALL, these hearing aids have many nice features but with some significant misses. In this price range to me they score 3.4 stars as is with the potential to do better. As promised at the beginning of this review, following are sources and proof regarding FDA registration.FDA REGISTERED SOURCES / PROOF According to the U.S. FDA, “Owners or operators of places of business (also called establishments or facilities) that are involved in the production and distribution of medical devices intended for use in the United States are generally required to register annually with the FDA. It’s important to understand: When a facility registers its establishment and lists its devices, the resulting entry in the FDA’s registration and listing database does not denote approval, clearance, or authorization of that facility or its medical devices.” SOURCE: Search Google for “Are There “FDA Registered” or “FDA Certified” Medical Devices?’ then click the first link in the results. These hearing aids are the model name “Core One Pro” and FDA registered under “Classification Name: HEARING AID, AIR-CONDUCTION, OVER THE COUNTER”.□ Proof / references are (using Google searches):❶ Ceretone is owned by Audicon (the same hearing aids model numbers differ by company):◦ Search “Ceretone at CES 2025: Experience the Future of Hearing Technology”, then click the first result. That page makes it clear Ceretone is part of Audicon.❷ The bottom of the Ceretone hearing aids storage / charging box is labeled “Model “CE-A90A”. They are listed on the Ceretone website as “Ceretone Core One Pro”.◦ Search “Ceretone Core One Pro”, then click the first result. The page on the Ceretone website that appears displays the same product.❸ Audicon’s “Ceretone Core One Pro”) is registered on the FDA website.◦ Search “FDA Quick Search”, then click the first result. On the FDA page that appears, in the “Quick Search” box type “Ceretone One Pro” and click the “Quick Search” button. FDA results appear in a table; “Ceretone Core One Pro” is in the right column of the 1st row with links; click the link with the word “Ceretone”, and the next page shows the official FDA registration listing of “Ceretone Core One Pro” hearing aids with the “Classification Name: HEARING AID, AIR-CONDUCTION, OVER THE COUNTER”.
