Title: What a fun way to teach and encourage the art of conversation!
Review: This we was a really cute and fun way to introduce and encourage active listening and meaningful response/engagement. We started with the basics with our Five year old to get her excited about asking questions and also challenged her to pay close attention to ask questions pertaining to what someone just said. It’s an important concept that can be tough for some but this helped keep it light and fun so our child could stay engaged. Definitely going to share this with our Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist! What a great tool!

Title: good therapy game
Review: I am a speech therapist, and I work with school-age children. This is a good therapy game to add to my pile. I especially like that it directly targets social skills. While all game-playing is a social interaction, this game makes the goal part of the game. The therapist chooses to target either comments or questions, and for each comment/question a child makes, he/she gets to color in a box leading to the end with their own dry erase marker. (Those in and of itself are exciting for my kids!) I’ve used it only a few times already, but hope to use it more.I also let my own children play with the game at home. My younger children definitely enjoyed it, though my 11 y.o. daughter (who thankfully doesn’t need therapy for social skills) didn’t like it as much. But when it’s used therapeutically, or for younger kids at home, I found it great.

Title: Great social emotional game!!
Review: Wow! What a great educational game! I played this with my seven and nine year old sons and was shocked at how fast they caught on and were turning to me to ask me questions about myself. This game really teaches kids how to carry meaningful conversations with each other as well as with adults. I highly recommend this for anyone whose kids are struggling with how to converse or even for the average child who can just use a great conversational boost. You’re sure to see fast results!

Title: Great cards to facilitate conversation with kids
Review: The game part of this isn’t that exciting and is kind of difficult to play with kids, however, the idea behind it and the cards it comes with make it a good purchase for speech therapists or families that want to improve their kids conversation skills. I do feel that it is way overpriced for what it is (unfortunately, this is very common for games and activities geared towards kids needing extra help whether it be speech therapy, occupational therapy, special needs, etc.).If it goes on sale for a steep discount the I would recommend it.

Title: fun game with good supports for student’s conversation
Review: This ended up being a fun game, I have only been able to play it once with my students but they enjoyed it and kept asking to play it each week.I like that it gives many options for responses to questions or topics so a student isn’t boxed into having one response. I think some prompts/question might not fit for every student or kid, so some flexibility is needed in modifying some cards.Overall this is a fun game to give kids an opportunity to learn new conversation skills.

Title: Great quality game with a lot of promise teaching conversational etiquette
Review: The box for this is high-quality. It’s not going to crush easily and will sit on a shelf well. It’s also quite bright and fun-looking! The box contains: the game board, 50 topic cards, 50 question and comment cards, 2 dry erase markers, and an instruction manual. The board is not as hard as a typical board game, but it’s much harder than just laminate cardstock or anything, so it’s quite sturdy. It’s for use with dry-erase markers so it’s laminated. The cards are bright and fun, with a lot of color and great pictures on them. It’s helpful that there are little pictures of what’s on the front of the card in the upper right-hand corner on the back for when you’re reading the questions or comments sections. The questions and comments are really well-done and focused on ensuring future conversational etiquette for the kiddos. The best way to teach the kids is to have them do, and this game does that. The only gripe I would have with that is that there is no case for the cards, so you either need to find a rubber band to hold them together or just let them fly around in the middle section of the box bottom.Overall, this game is absolutely wonderful. It’s a fantastic way for parents to spend some time with their kids where everyone – not just the kids – is practicing how to speak with people to show more empathy and concern for others. Always an important skill. Awesome!
