Title: Excellent “Wearable” Tech, Game Changer
Review: Excellent “portable” tech for tight BP control. I’m using BP wrist watches when on the go, but wearing this light & accurate arm cuff all day at home has been a game changer, providing biofeedback during daily activities. Nice app to track trends. Very easy & comfortable to put on & wear due to its continuous loop design & feather weight. Quality build. Highly recommended. Get it even if you have another device at home if you want 24/7 BP awareness.

Title: It could have been great, but I found it wanting…
Review: This device has the potential to be really good, however it seems to me that just a bit more attention to detail would have made a big difference.First, my likes: Although I have not done a side by side comparison between this and a clinical BP tester at the Dr’s office (that is yet to come), I get the overall feeling that it is fairly accurate, which is the whole purpose of a blood pressure tester. I am a 77 year old engineer, and for years I have been using an Omron BP tester which has, over time drifted down in the test results to the point where it was consistently measuring lower than the the tester at the doctor’s office, and so I went hunting for a different device. This one is small and compact by comparison and as such, very portable – it will be going with me to the doctor’s office whereas the Omron never did. For the most part, I like the graphic display on the phone app in that it graphs the BP readings over time – day, week, month, and year. I like the display where you can see the pressure pulses of heartbeats.Dislikes: First of all, and this is probably my bad for just now seeing it, but two different prices were shown on the Amazon display and I THOUGHT I carefully reviewed the information on both, but I missed the part – if it is even there – where they tell you why one is substantially more expensive than the other, and that has to be that the more expensive one tests for atrial fibrillation. So I was quite surprised when I received the device, having chosen the less expensive version and found out that it DOES NOT show afib. I think they may have made one set of illustrations and used that set for both devices. Secondly, when I looked at the instructions for doing the test, they showed some kind of a little flap on the inside of the sleeve that was supposed to be in one position and not the other. It took me a bit to figure out what they were talking about and now that I have, I find it a bit of a pain to check that that is in the right position before starting the test, and because it has been packed away during manufacture in the wrong position, it doesn’t ‘want’ to be in the correct position during the test. Next, my Omron will do three consecutive tests and average them before displaying the results. This one does not do that. One test and the result is displayed. So I decided that I would try to do a second and third test to see if the results varied. so I pressed the button for another test, and it did the second test, but it would not graph the second test on the app. On the app there is a ‘disconnected’ indicator which changes to ‘connected’ when you turn on the device in preparation for making the test. I found out that as long as the ‘connected’ indicator is up, the app will NOT show and graph a second reading. You have to turn OFF the device so the app shows ‘disconnected’ before that app will respond to a the next test. Third, neither the device or the app have automatic shutdown after a test. You can leave both on for hours and they will NOT automatically shut off which is a feature that almost all electronic devices have – after a period of being idle, they automatically shut off – NOT these. Then there is the app display. It automatically goes to a screen that has a green, amber, orange, and red sections on it. On this display, they put a tiny dot – too small for my 77 year old eyes to see without searching for it – I think they were striving for accuracy in the presentation but they went a little too far, and the irony is that it’s probably mostly ‘old’ eyes that will be using it. Lastly, and I have not measured it, but this cuff seems to be just enough wider that the Omron that I have been used to using that I find it somewhat difficult to get the cuff in the position that they show in their instruction video to be the proper position – perhaps I just have a short upper arm.In review: I basically like this device, but with a little more attention to detail, on the Amazon add and in the development of the physical device and the operation of the app, it would have been a lot more enjoyable for me to use. Having said that, I find myself hoping that more attention was paid to detail during manufacture than it seems to me was paid during engineering of the device. I would buy this device again – assuming the build quality is sufficient to hold up over time and for that, I’ll have to wait and see.

Title: Very good quality at an affordable price!
Review: Excellent quality! Very easy to use. I like that it stores my previous test numbers. As far as accuracy, while i don’t have any testing equipment, I feel it’s pretty accurate based on my known numbers.I like that the cuff fits large arms, which is easy to put on by yourself. It comes with a detailed instruction manual and includes a charging cord (but no charging brick)It stores in a nice sturdy box with magnetic closers.

Title: Consistent Readings. Easy to Use
Review: Easy to read display. App integration is good and very easy to connect via Bluetooth. It seamlessly uploads readings automatically to my iPhone which was “A have to have” feature for me. I can now easily see my measurements history and send them to a third party if I choose. (My doctor or family member.) Battery charge has lasted over two weeks and still going. Consistent readings. I’ll be taking it with me on my next MD visit to double check accuracy of measurements. It fits comfortably around my nicely muscled arm. I purchased when it was on discount and believe it was a good value. It has all the important clinical validations I regret not buying this one first to avoid buying less expensive devices that I haven’t been able to trust reading and wasting money. Feel free to validate my feedback by plugging the device name into ChatGPT to see for yourself.
