Review: INTRODUCTION. A few years ago, I bought a Clarity phone for use at home. I wanted to get a phone intended for people with hearing loss because although my hearing is okay, sometimes when I am talking with someone on a cell phone or a customer support person in India it is difficult to hear them. I was reasonably happy with the phone even though the instructions for the user were terrible and the buttons did not have a good feel and the speakerphone in the handset was not as loud or as clear as desired.RECENT PURCHASE. I was unable to locate anything that appeared superior, so I recently ordered this Clarity phone for use in my office. I am very happy with it because all of the shortcomings of the earlier phone have been eliminated. It now comes with a nice instruction booklet, the buttons have a better feel (tactile feedback), and the speakerphone in the handset is now loud enough and clear enough to be easily used.In addition, the answering machine now can be set to beep every 10 seconds when a message is waiting. I like this feature because sometimes I forget to check and see whether someone left me a message. And the new phone includes a very useful tone control that provides easy access to four different levels of high frequencies, allowing me to transform a weak, muddy connection into a conversation that is easily understood. As before, the phone allows you to increase the loudness very much if you have a weak connection. And now, the buttons on the handset are illuminated, which could be handy in low lighting.Because I do not have a hearing problem, the objections voiced by some other reviewers have not been a problem for me. And so far, although the phone is still rather new, it seems to be working fine. I sympathize with anyone who receives a defective product. Maybe I got lucky with this one. But I am pleased to report that so far, it is working fine, and it is a real pleasure to use.Best wishes.

Title: Best cordless phone I have found!
Review: I have been using this phone for years. I found it several years ago when I was looking for a cordless phone with answering machine for my hard of hearing mother in her 90’s. I tried several but she was not able to hear well on them. None of them were loud enough and they were muffled sounding and distorted on or off speaker. This was the only phone she could hear well using and it was easy for her to use. My husband and I have been buying them for ourselves ever since. I hope they don’t stop making them. It’s hard to find ones with answering machines and the sound is great…even if you aren’t hard of hearing! A truly nice phone!

Review: I got the phone for my mom who is 89 years old. She also has Parkinsons. This phone met her needs wonderfully. Larger buttons, boost volume and the it is easier to read with the white background and black letters. She is very pleased with her phone.

Review: I really love this phone because of the clarity and ease of hearing who is calling me being a person who misses the jest of many conversations. I also like being able to sit in my comfortable chair anywhere I like in the room and relax with it. There are settings for any personal preference for ease of hearing. Also a very nice looking phone and easy to use and handle. The large numbers are perfect and the symbols guide me to all the features. Excellent product!

Title: Buttons will stop working on handset
Review: This has been a terrible Clarity phone. The buttons stopped working after a month. I called support and did all the required fixes of unplugging and taking batteries out and putting back in etc.; gave up and bought a replacement handset. Have the same problem but now with both handsets. The buttons won’t go down to answer phone or to dial.Cannot return as I have had it 4 months. I had to give it at least one star to post my review.

Title: Great phone for the elderly
Review: Did research on cordless phones with big buttons and simple procedures (for my elderly mother). This phone has worked out fantastic for her, allowing her to see the big buttons, and only needing to hold down one button (for 2 ‘potatoes’!) allows her to dial all her friends I have set up on speed dial for her. Battery seems to last very well, also. Overall, great!
