Title: Best phone
Review: This phone is by far the best we have had. It was well worth the money. I enjoy talking on it since the conversation is clear and no need for excessive repeating of my words. Thanks Mary

Title: Good phone for the elderly with hearing impairments
Review: The phone arrived in the condition that the seller stated, with a few minor scuff marks from normal usage… not a big deal. I cleaned it with a damp towel and all was well. I had to purchase a 9V DC adapter separately, which was easily sourced from Radio Shack, and they also matched the exact port up since I brought the phone with me. The phone jack wire was purchased from Home Depot for less than $10. After setting it up at my grandma’s house and having her practice using it, she was very surprised at how well it amplified the sound on her end! I was happy that I could program in speed dialed numbers to greatly enhance ease of use for her! Unfortunately after leaving it at her place for her to use, I am guessing that the 9V DC plug came slightly loose from the wall, which kicked on the batteries. A family member was visiting her and wasn’t able to figure out why the phone was not able to place calls, even though I had printed out the instructions and left them there. Once I was able to get back over her house a few days later, I plugged the phone back into the wall without the batteries inside and was able to place calls no problem. However, there was a bit of background static that I could hear whenever the person on the other line would speak, and visa-versa (the person on the other line could hear static whenever I would speak). My grandma became afraid of using the phone after this minor event and didn’t want the phone any more.

Title: Great for Senior with Hearing Issues
Review: This phone works great for my 93-year-old dad. He has struggled with regular phones and even with a previous one I bought that was supposed to be for hard of hearing. This one has all the bells and whistles and they are all VERY LOUD.

Title: Absolutely terrible phone DO NOT PURCHASE
Review: Absolutely terrible phone DO NOT PURCHASE! I installed this phone yesterday for a relative who has some hearing impairment. The quality of sound is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It is very distorted when she is speaking. The microphone in the speakerphone is also terrible — I can barely hear what she is saying, the volume level is extremely low. Also note that this phone does not have Caller ID. This caused a great inconvenience also in that I couldn’t get back to her residence right away to replace the phone. Shameful that this company sells such defective products. I would never purchase a “Clarity” phone again.

Title: Too many cons not enough pros
Review: Very complicated deleting numbers, making calls had a loud popping noise also when pressing the buttons., you couldn’t shut off the voicemail & The back phone stand constantly slid off whenever I went to use it. They do have other phones but I was too afraid that they would be more complicated.

Review: This phone would be great for someone without hearing aids, but unfortunately it causes static with my hearing aids.

Title: Works well
Review: My Mom is 91, has dementia, and severe hearing loss in both ears. My sister and I who live out of state are able to conduct a more understandable conversation with our Mom now!!! She is able to hear us and respond accordingly in reference to her present cognitive abilities. This phone has a 100 db ringer and a 50 db speaker. It has made a great difference in our lives.

Review: It seems more heavy duty than most. I like the fact that you can set the tone to your own personal setting. Having the extra volume capability produces a better quality sound, at 60% volume. With the cheaper amplified phones, running the volume at 100% produces nothing but distortion.
