Title: Clarity C 200 phone
Review: I received the Clarity C 200 Phone promptly and in good condition. I have used it very little, so cannot comment onhow long it will last. However; it appears to be well made and functions correctly. The boost switch has a “solid”feel and the “boost” works. I have moderate hearing loss and can hear nicely with maximum boost. I find that I musthave the ear-piece tight against my ear or I get feed-back, which I consider a normal situation. The ringer is LOUD.I wish it were adjustable instead of just “on or “off”; but it is as advertised. The C 200 is line powered; therefore, itrequires no batteries or AC, and will work if the power is off, which is one reason I ordered it. I keep it between mycomputer tower and monitor on top of my desk. That way; if I need to talk to someone while trouble-shooting,I can.I have read some reviews that complained that the keypad lighting was not bright enough. I have no complaint aboutthat. After all; one can only draw a limited amount of current from that small line. Overall: I am satisfied with the C 200and give it five stars.

Title: Very good phone that you can optionally significantly amplify the sound …
Review: Very good phone that you can optionally significantly amplify the sound by pushing a button. . The phone received was technically a Clarity C210 model rebranded as a C200. I believe the two models are the same, the C210 was originally manufactured to be sold at Radio Shack. One negative is that you are supposed to be able to wall mount it but the tab described in the literature that allows wall mounting is not there.Correction: I was able to wall-mount the C200/C210 phone. The phone manual shows special “Tabs” on the phone base which are necessary to hold the handset in a vertical wall-mounted position. As shipped these “Tabs” at the top of a small plastic piece in the base are missing. It is necessary to use a small blade or screwdriver to push up the small plastic piece, reverse it and slide it back in to get the actual tabs.It is a nice amplified phone for wall mounting because it optionally amplifies the sound without requiring external power. As noted in the manualImportant: A modular wall jack with raised mounting pins is required forinstallation as a Wall Unit. This wall plate is not supplied with the phone. You also need a short phone cord. I don’t remember if this short cord was supplied or not.

Title: A disappointment.
Review: A decent phone but the ringer was very soft and I was looking for a loud ringer. It is soft enough that it is very difficult to hear if you are hearing impaired. It does have a light when the phone rings, but you have to be looking at it. Overall disappointing. I do not recommend this item unless you have fairly normal hearing.

Title: OK Listen up people
Review: This is an excellent phone. Someone wrote that they hear a bit of an echo, I did too when I was too close to my computer. This phone has awesome clarity and that is what we all expect. Here is something no one mentions… the size of the phone. It is perfect for arthritic hands. Has a good weight AND… you can prop it up to your ear with your shoulder… woo hoooo! Someone also mentioned the boost button and describe it as kinda awkward. There is also a volume button and it works very well. All in all, for a $25.00 phone I can’t ask for more. It seems very well made. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one of their high end phones. Thanks Clarity. Oh the reason for 4 out of 5 stars… I wanted a red phone lol

Title: Bought it for Grandma…
Review: We could never seem to get through to Grandma because she didn’t hear the phone ringing. So, we bought this for her and had it shipped right to the nursing home, and now she answers right away! The flashing light helps a lot too, and the ringer seems to be loud enough for her to hear every time. One minor complaint is that the ‘amplify button’ (that she pushes to hear us better) occasionally makes a loud squealing tone on our end. Other than that, it’s a great product and well worth the money!

Title: Have to use amplify button everything you pick it up.
Review: I bought this for my 96 year old mother thinking she would be able to hear me just by answering the phone! Because of her short memory problems she still can’t remember to turn to amplify button every time she answers. Unfortunately it’s useless for this reason. She can’t hear me when I try to explain how to turn the button on to hear me talk. Waste of money for my purpose of purchasing it!

Title: Don’t buy this fraudulent, Clarity brand, corded, amplified phone
Review: If this Clarity corded, amplified phone was priced at $16.95, which is the exact same price as the AT&T TRIMLINE 210 Corded Home Phone (Beige color), then I would give this Clarity amplified phone 2 stars and the AT&T TRIMLINE 210 Corded Home Phone 4 stars (1)for being slightly louder than the Clarity phone can be at its maximum possible volume and (2)for being much simpler to operate than the Clarity amplified phone. It’s true that the volume wheel on the Clarity amplified phone affects the volume. It’s also true that the Boost Volume button makes the volume about 30% louder. However, even with the volume wheel at maximum plus the Boost Volume button pressed to be activated, this Clarity amplified phone is not quite as loud as the AT&T 210 TRIMLINE phone. Also, the AT&T 210 TRIMLINE phone is always set at its maximum volume, which isn’t quite loud enough for many, many people, while the Clarity amplified phone is slightly less loud at its maximum possible volume, which requires the volume wheel at maximum plus the Boost Volume button activated. Conclusion:This Clarity amplified phone would be 2 stars if it were priced at $16.95.Because it is priced at the fraudulently high price of $37.99, I give it only 1 star.Avoid this fraudulent, “amplified” phone by Clarity.
