Title: Best phone I have ever had
Review: Best phone I have ever had. I have been using the Clarity phones since about 2004. Main advantages (5) are the quality of sound, it is the best, the intuitive way it can be programmed and used, when misplaced the find button on the home station which makes the phone beep, when there is a new message the home base beeps about once every 10 seconds, and fifth the bright back light.. None of these advantages are on the Panasonic set which my wife uses. I use the wire headset with the phone, which gives me freedom to use my hands and lowers the risk of brain cancer. Some new phones don’t offer that option. .

Title: Clarity phone system – unreliable and and dissappointing
Review: Purchased this phone in addition to the D712 system with answer machine. System was difficult to program; callers intermittent could not hear me; also voice cut in and out; returned system after people could not hear me at all. Clarity tech support and customer service very dissappointing – surprising since they are a part of Plantronics. When I called tech support they told me that I need to turn system off and remove batteries for 30 minutes to reset the system. I’ve never had to do that with any phone system that I’ve owned. I’ve had good success with other products that I’ve purchased from Plantronics.

Title: Clarity Phone
Review: Clarity phones are great for the hearing impaired, I bought this one to add onto the main base, which I purchased last year for my Grandmother. Battery life is not as good as a regular cordless phone, but a regular cordless phone doesn’t amplify the volume, which I am sure that is why the barrtery does not last a couple of days. Battery life is about 36 hours off the charger, this works fine around our house as it is charged every night. The clarity of this phone is great and with the sound adjustment on the side of the phone anyone in the house that picks the phone up to use it can adjust it to make it accomadate their hearing level.

Title: Big buttons and loud.
Review: My Mother can’t hear and wont get a hearing aid. She can hear clearly from this phone. AND when she calls her voice is loud on my side too. She likes the big buttons. Her last phone turned on automatically when she picked it up. It is an adjustment for her to remember to push the green button to turn on the phone.

Review: This is a replacement for an identical handset that lasted less than 7 months so for that reason, I’ve given it a low “buyer beware” type of rating. I also expected the sound to be louder on this phone than what it is. You need to boost the sound for every call—the booster setting doesn’t stay after you hang up. In hindsight, I would have chosen a different product for my elderly mom.
