Title: My 88-year old Mom loves it!
Review: Bought this for my elderly mother who swears there is nothing wrong with her hearing even though she’s constantly asking me to repeat myself. (Love her!) Anyway, she loves the phone. The speakerphone is loud and clear and the boost function for hearing soft talkers or people with noise in the background is perfect for her. Like other raters, the buttons on the side of the phone accidentally get pushed with normal handling, but to me or her that’s no big deal. The digital buttons are large, soft and easy to read or push, and the phone works perfectly. I would highly recommend it for anyone with seeing or hearing difficulties.

Title: Amplified Big Button Cordless Phone
Review: Purchased this phone for my Dad who is legally blind and very hard of hearing. Finally, we are able to hear and understand each other. Previously when we spoke, I could tell that he wasn’t hearing what I was saying and the conversation was not very satisfying for either of us. Now, we talk more often and he can hear what I am saying thanks to the amplification. He has Parkinson’s Disease and the cordless nature of the phone allows him to have it near him so that he no longer has to traverse across the living room to answer it. Great price and it works very well! I highly recommend it.

Title: Good idea but some problems
Review: I bought this for my mother who is hard of hearing. There are two ways to boost the volume. There is a well marked rocker switch (like many phones) on the side. Then there is a push button marked boost. The side rocker has up to four bars of sound volume. The problem is that it defaults to the lowest volume and you must raise it each and every telephone call which is a pain for the elderly and they have to remember to do this so they can hear the call. I suppose with constant repetition they might remember it but that is a pain. Also the volume starts out lower than on a regular phone which is amazing. Why would that be so? This phone is for the hearing impaired so why not start with at least the same volume as any regular phone? I had trouble hearing with this phone on its default low setting! Still the phone, when you go to the trouble of pushing the volume side switch, and then push the boost it really does boost well. Also the rest of the phone is nice and visible. I also like the treble boost 1 and 2 settings for people who only need the boost of the upper frequencies. Good idea.

Title: Great for my mom
Review: I bought this product for my 90-year-old mother who has been struggling to hear the phone recently. It has made such a difference for her! I can chat with her just like we used to before she needed hearing aids. And, the large number pad is helpful too. Highly recommend!

Review: Worst company to deal with for a refund. Customer service wrote no more than 1 sentence each time very unprofessionally with spelling errors. They did NOT refund me the full amount as they also said they would. The phone was for a hearing impaired person and is no better than the normal phone she is using. very disappointing as I was under the impression this phone had higher than usual quality for volume. Unfortunately not suitable for my hearing impaired grandmother. Also beware if refund requested they make u pay for shipping and also hold 20% for a “restocking” fee. Also not impressed as I thought being a prime member that gave free hassle free returns if not 100% satisfied with a product. Amazon customer service was amazing through out so thank u Amazon! The seller was awful, unprofessional, lazy and not willing to give 100% customer satisfaction at any point. The phone however I can say was clearer NOT louder as advertised. If it wasn’t for Amazon having my back Canada direct probably would not have given me a refund at all. Shame on u Canada direct horrible company to deal with stay away!!
