Title: Excellent quality classic phone
Review: This product is everything I was hoping for in a wall phone. Most importantly it produces clean, clear sounds both when speaking and listening. For listening, it has a switch to amplify the audio signal that is perfect for those in your home who may not hear as well. I hear fine and might use it if I’m listening to a person speaking quietly. The ringer can also be switched off if desired, which is nice if someone is sleeping, on a video call for work, or doesn’t want to disturb customers. The ringer is a pleasant mechanical bell that is effective without being too loud. The build quality is very good, with the shell and receiver being of high quality, and the keypad being firm. Nothing “feels cheap” about this phone, and I like it a lot. Recommended.

Title: It works, and has a bell
Review: I work in entertainment, and phones like this with a mechanical bell are rather important. You see, we can connect them to an amplifier and make the bell ring… we cannot do that with newer phones, it must have a mechanical bell.Using this knowledge, I can put a phone into something like an escape room, and not only make it ring, but wire up the audio to a real person, or a recording. Or I can use it on-stage for a play and have the actual phone ring instead of just playing a sound effect. All that said, there is a weird flaw with this phone. The case of this phone is designed for the input wire to go through the bottom of the case, bottom as it is hanging on a wall, not the back-plate. Even though it is designed that way, the exact phone I got has a phone jack just kind of slid into a hole in the back-plate, loosely, I can pull it out without any effort. And in this location, the jack in not usable while the phone is mounted. For me, I will just re-wire it, but for others, this should be correct… just install the jack where the case is designed to have it.

Title: Works when the electric goes out
Review: I wanted an old style phone that would plug directly into the wall and be useful when the electricity goes out. It does that. The ringer wasn’t as loud as expected but since this is just for emergencies that doesn’t bother me. I like the old fashioned ring, very distinguishable from the other phones in the house. When we went to mount the phone to the wall, the plug in part (where you connect the wire to the phone) was loose and we had to fish it out of the inside of the phone. It looks like it has a little gap in the plastic part that can slide down over the metal plate but had come loose and fallen inside the phone. We dialed each other from the cell phone to test it and it sounded a little distant like you were calling from across the country and not just the next room, but all in all it works great for a stand alone phone that doesn’t require electricity to operate.

Title: Decent quality with true vintage look
Review: It works pretty well. Is it a vlome of phones from that era? No. It looks the part, though. The volume control works well, too.I am happy with it and the value is there.

Title: Classic wall phone
Review: The current phone I had on the wall didn’t have an option to turn off the ringer, so that’s why I ended up getting this phone. Looks like the classic payphone style to me of phones. Works well, and I love the fact you can turn off the ringer. Only have this type of a phone so when the power goes out we still have one working phone in the house other than the cell phones. Seems like an average price for this type of phone too.

Title:
Review: I like the feel and look of the phone it definitely works fine with my Cell2Jack and a splitter. The volume is LOUD when it’s at max and reasonable when it’s at a minimum. The missing star is for the button tones which don’t sound like your typical beep Boop when you dial – they sound like tiny cowbells almost broken… Rather disappointing…
