Title: Surprisingly versatile!
Review: Installation is a no-brainer, since it screws into a standard lamp socket like any other light bulb. So screw it in, provide power to the lamp, pull the battery-saver tab off the remote, and go! And that’s when the fun merely begins. This is not one of those devices & remotes chock full of extraneous gizmo functions just because it can. The remote is to the point, but still highly featured. And the lamp follows remote commands quickly and every time, even from a decent distance. Hit a color button and it changes instantly. Dim or brighten any color. And it adds to different fade options for rolling through colors. Finally, of course, simple on/off. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, honestly, and building micro-controller based (Arduino) special effects is my main hobby, so I can be discerning.I was impressed to the point that I went back and checked how much I paid. Roughly $4.25 per bulb? Really? My local specialty light bulb store would charge 4 times that much.I could easily see using these as my standard house bulb in nearly every fixture where it would fit, and just keeping it on the soft white (which is a pretty natural white, easy on the eyes). Then I could just dim or brighten to mimic varying standard bulb wattages depending on the room. As an LED it is an energy saver that will pay for itself. And if I ever had some special function, such as a party, I could just whip out the remote and set the mood in a second without running around and changing out all my normal lighting. When done, just set them all back. Seriously, it’s that versatile and affordable that I am considering doing just that.So, yeah, I might be buying more soon. A LOT MORE!

Title: Works great, just wish they were brighter
Review: I bought these for my old house that has two overhead sockets on the same switch. We wanted to put one of those socket fans in the other. We don’t use that socket for light so we don’t really use the light on the fan and the switch has to be on for the fan to work while we are sleeping so we needed a way to be able to shut both overhead lights off independently. I bought these to solve that problem. They work like a charm. Easy to install, just like any other bulb. There are lots of color options & I’ve actually been trying to use these for some “green light therapy”. The remote is small & light. Ironically this remote & the socket fan remote must be on the save frequency or something cause they do cross signals but as long as I point it directly at the right fixture it works. I wish I’d noticed the wattage but that’s really on me. They aren’t quite as bright as I’d like.

Review: I was looking for a simple why to turn ON/OFF three lamps. Ok, I’m lazy. I didn’t like having to do all that bending before bed. On a whim, I order these with almost zero expectations — it was a 2am order and figured, for $17 maybe it will just work.Work it did! I screwed in the bulbs and pulled that battery tab on one of the two remotes… PERFECTO! Sure, a few more lumens would be nice, these I think might be in the 40W bulb equiv. (so this is ideal for mood/might lite type of product.) Remote includes buttons for auto shut-off after x hrs… View the image to see the remote. Dang glad I got these and I plan to order another for the rooms.

Review: Though allowing a decent selection of color, you don’t get the full spectrum of color, so if you’re looking for the whole 256+ color selection, stick to a bulb that uses a phone app to control its color.But, if you’re dealing with installing mood lighting bulbs for someone who doesn’t have a cellphone (or doesn’t know how to use one), these bulbs are PERFECT.Just be mindful the range on the remote can be a tad buggy, so if you’ve got multiple bulbs installed in a single fixture, like 1/20 times you hit a button, only one of/not all the bulbs will respond, if the remote isn’t directly pointed at them when used.It didn’t make it clear on the preview, but the package actually comes with TWO remotes, which makes having mood lighting in two different rooms much easier.The remotes already come with batteries in them, which is also very nice.The instructions are basic, and tell you what you need to know, and installation is as easy as screwing in a light bulb.Overall, for its value, this was a good buy, and I’m enjoying them.

Review: oh my god. i LOVE it. it’s definitely easy to install, just twist it into a regular old lamp or light and point the remote at it. it’s so fun to mess with the colors and put them around the house. i have one in my room, my walk in closet, my bathroom, and a spare !! the brightness levels are perfect in my opinion and it comes with a standard light mode that’s so bright!! i love that you can dim the lights, this has been a life saver for my chronic migraine having self!! the fact that it’s a pack of four and comes with two remotes is so generous. i have a spare one i will probably give to my mom since she liked these lights as well. when i move out, i’ll be buying more of these for sure. great, great, great product for the price. : )
