Title: ABSOLUTE GARBAGE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CONTIXO!!!!!
Review: UPDATE 8 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE:This tablet is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! You want to know what is even MORE garbage?! Contixo’s NON EXISTANT “Customer Service” & Contixo’s “Warranty”. 8 months later and the tablet will not charge or turn on at all (I use the plug I charge my phone on every night so I know that the issue is the tablet and not the plug). It is obvious that Contixo knows that this is an ongoing issue with their tablets because as soon as you start navigating steps to contact their “Customer Service” they have a FAQ Troubleshooting video & instruction for this very same issue, yet it STILL doesn’t fix the issue. Plain and simple, the tablet is GARBAGE! I’ve tried calling the “Customer Service” phone number several times to either get a busy signal or it sounds like I’m calling a cell phone with a musical ringback tone to a full voicemail system. I’ve also emailed them over a month ago to their “Customer Service” email they provide on their website and I got absolutely no response. So I followed up over 2 weeks ago with their website based submission form and also received zero response. ABSOLUTE TRASH! Obviously the “Warranty” means absolutely nothing because you can not even get it contact with this company. I will be reporting this company to Amazon & the BBB for false advertizing and fraud.Original review:The tablet is great for a kids tablet functionally however the biggest warning I can give on this tablet is that the sound is absolutely WAY TOO LOUD! My daughter watches YouTube a lot and while there are many different volume levels you can select on the tablet, the very lowest volume level next to a full “Mute” is a literal screaming decibel. The only way my daughter can watch this tablet is with her headphones that have a child safety limit on the volume. It is a pain in the butt to have to bluetooth connect her headphones to make her tablet even a usable option for her especially when I’m out and about by myself and trying to do a million things at one time. The speakers are accessible via the back of the tablet and I am considering affixing maybe some cotton rounds or something to it to dampen the sound (this is inconvenient though and will make the tablet look ghetto).

Review: tablet was a Christmas gift for our Granddaughter she truly loves it but the only negative it takes so long to charge the Contixo Kids Tablet K102, 10-inch HD, Ages 3-7, and she was impatient as she wanted to play with it immediately as it was her Christmas gift, I would recommend if getting for a gift to open it and set the tablet up as it takes about 2.5 hours to fully set the tablet up with all the info and to charge it overnight so it can be played as soon as opened. Otherwise its a great tablet. would buy again.

Title: Once I worked out the kinks, it’s worth it
Review: I almost sent this back because of the cons, but my 4-year-old had already grown to love the built-in storybooks. After finding workarounds for some things, we are all happy with it!Pros:-The built-in storybooks apparently cannot be found anywhere else! And there are SO MANY! Really great feature.-So many games that are actually educational! (I help to design preschool curriculum. I know what I’m talking about here.)-The case is very durable and easy for small hands to hold onto.-Reasonably easy for a child to figure out. My 4-year-old’s difficulties have been related to him being used to using Apple instead of Android.Cons:-VERY slow to start up. I recommend never, ever powering it off.-You have to sign in with Google in order for the tablet to function at all. Upon setup I was prompted to create a Google account for my child, which I was not very happy about having to do.-If you sign in with a child’s Google account, you can’t link the YouTube Kids back to the adult’s account, which means less control over what they see.TO SOLVE THE CONS: I don’t know if you can just sign in with an adult’s Google account to begin with. I was prompted that I had to create one for my child, but you can probably just use your own instead. If you didn’t do that, then you will need to restore factory settings. That’s not intuitive so you’ll have to Google how to do it. Then, when you sign back in, use your adult Google account. Then just be sure and disable YouTube (leaving only YT Kids) and whatever else you don’t want your child to have access to. Your Gmail, contacts, etc.

Title: Definitely a great tablet and a great price!
Review: My granddaughter loves it! And so far it’s working great! I love the big screen and the kickstand is firm. I love all the story books that are already installed on it! Great buy and great price!
Reviewer: Tablet stopped charging a bout a month and half after we bought it.. my kid wasn’t rough on it, I went to plug it in and it just wouldn’t make the connection to charge. it was too late to do a return. Sad because my kid loved this tablet!! If you buy this tablet, purchase the protection plan!!

Review: My kid LOVED this tablet. She loved the Disney books it would read to you, and the Google kids space. So easy for her to use. But shortly after the Amazon return window closed, the tablet stopped charging, absolutely will do nothing!! I went to plug it in and its like it won’t make connection in the charger port. Sad because we spent a good chunk of money on this for it to not last. I reached out to customer support and they were no help. They told me to reset it which does nothing for the inner charging port. Lol. If you buy this tablet, purchase the protection plan.

Title: Contixo 10 in kids tablet
Review: I purchased the same item in December of 2024. Had a 2-year warranty on that item. This item quit working less than a year. Later when I went to get a refund it was supposed to be credited to my account very difficult to get. They told me to purchase another one and then they’ll credit my account for a hundred and something dollars which they never did. So I lost over a hundred and something dollars for which the warranty was supposed to cover. I questioned the warranties on items that are provided through Amazon

Review: Got this March 27 2022, at first we thought it was great. It took our 4 yo a bit of time to learn how to use it, not a problem. It’s now July and the batter is just awful. It hardly holds a charge. The screen isn’t working as well and u can’t tether the wifi to a hotspot. We mainly use this for in the car so it kind of defeats the purpose. Downloading movies from Netflix, Disney, or prime takes forever. At this point it feels like a waste of money. This should have lasted more then 4 months. We will be saving up for a proper tablet at this point. Buyer beware.

Review: First of all, the android functions available and learning apps are great. There is a variety of learning games that run from Pre-school to Grade 5. The cushioned case seems descent enough to protect from most drops.The tablet worked well for about 6 months. Then it started to have issues powering ON. Through a recovery boot-mode+reboot sequence I was able to power up the device and have it working. This issue lasted another couple of weeks until it would no-longer turn ON. If plugged into a USB charging source I could identify the screen was still working because the battery charging icon would appear on the screen. Pressing the power button would not return any response from the tablet. Running through the Contixo troubleshooting videos and FAQs was useless. I happened to come across another YouTube video for ‘how to take apart a tablet’. So I used a pick tool, scored the edges of the frame and popped the plastic tabs open. The tablet popped apart into 2-halves. After examining the power button and yellow colored wire connection it was apparent the cable came unseated from its connection, located under some black tape. Using needle-nose pliers I removed and re-established the connection for the power button. VOILA!!! The tablet was now able to power on again. The tablet was all clicked back together and has resumed operating normally. Take this info as you will, be careful popping the tablet in half, I was not worried about any cosmetic damage/scratches in the process as it would be covered by the case afterwards.
