Title: Tools are faulty/defective. Instruction manual not specific. Speaker works great.
Review: The loud speaker functions perfectly fine and sounds great. Sadly, the tools were defective and actually broke/didn’t function properly during the repair. I had to leave my phone unassembled overnight until I could get the necessary tools to complete the repair the following morning.Regarding the instruction manual, it is not specific to the part you are replacing. It shows step by step directions for unassembling and reassembling the ENTIRE phone. Depending on what you are replacing, several parts do not need to be removed, but the manual gives the illusion that they do. It also doesn’t specify which screwdriver tool to use on the steps. There was supposed to be a video available for replacing this part, but it was nowhere to be found. I ended up using a video from another repair site.If you’re just buying it for the replacement part you’ll be fine, but make sure you have your own tools available and use a video online to guide you through the repair. Not the manual included in the kit.
