Doritos Is Bringing Back 3 of Its Most Popular Flavors

When you see a bag of Doritos at a party, do you wonder who sprung for the good stuff? There’s just something about the sight of the snack, whether it’s the classic flavor or one of the brand’s many new launches (hello, Twisted Queso, the chips fans “need about 10 bags” of), that elevates the status of the snack table. 

Just in time for grilling season, Doritos is raising the bar by bringing back three flavors that scream, “We’re perfect for burgers and dogs,” and have fans yelling, “Yayyyyayayayayayay!!!!!!” on social media.

Doritos Is Bringing Back Tangy Ketchup, Hot Mustard, and Tangy Pickle Chips

This summer, Doritos is bringing back its fan-loved Tangy Ketchup, Hot Mustard, and Tangy Pickle flavors.

Doritos introduced its Tangy Ketchup and Hot Mustard flavors three years ago. While the Tangy Pickle flavor has been in and out of the mix for the past couple years.

The limited-edition ketchup-flavored chips bring the sweet and tangy flavor of the tomato condiment to the beloved corn chips, while the spicy mustard-flavored chips deliver a punch of heat and tangy yellow mustard flavor. Doritos’ Tangy Pickle chips are simply a vinegary, dill-forward chip, described on the bag as “Crunch, Sour, Punch.”

“The mustard ones were good, but they burned my nose,” an Instagram commenter noted. The heat didn’t stop another commenter from saying, “Can’t wait—I love the spicy mustard,” and another simply called the mustard variety, “MY BELOVED.”

Dortios’ Tangy Ketchup flavor got some love, too, as one fan commented, “Ketchup chips all day! Let’s go!”

The Tangy Pickle flavor seems to be the most divisive, which is to be expected. However, the chips do have their fans, with one Reddit user calling them “a great chip and flavor.”

The three fan-loved Doritos are rolling out to stores nationwide now, so you’ll be able to add them to your cookout menu soon enough.

Will we see a TikTok trend of people putting chips on their burgers and dogs instead of actual ketchup, mustard, and pickles? Or perhaps folks will mix them into recipes like Doritos Locos Meatloaf (meatloaf + ketchup = match made in heaven) or to add an extra, mustard-y tang to Spicy Doritos Chicken. However they are enjoyed, it’s nice to know they’re back.
