Title: Swing out pocket magnifying glass with LED light
Review: A handy size for having at the work station or carrying in a purse. Initial attempt to open was meet with resistance due to sharp molded edges catching magnifier and preventing it from opening. Using a fingernail file, emery board, or small knife blade to scrap the edges where the assembly was catching, fixed the issue. Open the magnifier first before attempting to deburr edges. Once that was completed it rotates closed to open without much effort.Very satisfied with purchase, handy and effective in examining details.

Title: Design issue
Review: Good light and magnification. It’s a nice size to fit in my purse. I’m returning it because you need to use a tiny screwdriver to remove a tiny screw to replaces the battery. I don’t think I’ll be able to do that. I don’t think the designers considered all of the use cases for this product.

Title: Battery replacement is difficult.
Review: Worked fine until I had to change the batteries. Built in obsolescence???3/12/25 revision. I was finally able to get the batteries to seat properly and the magnifier is working again. Changing batteries should not involve a four hour ordeal. Better illustrations on the inside of the battery compartment cover would go a long way to making this very handy gadget much more user friendly. I’m increasing my rating to four stars.

Title: Handy desk accessory + Easy to change Batteries
Review: As an accountant, I find it really helpful when I’m trying to read tiny-faded 8pt type. The level of magnification and the bright built-in well-directed light work well together. I also like the fact that it is easy to change the batteries…Just don’t drop the tiny set screw.
