Review: I picked this up to give to my son when he goes on trips since I wanted something functionally simple and easy to use without the distractions of a modern smartphone. The build is straightforward, and the buttons have a satisfying click to them when you are navigating the menus. Sound quality really surprised me, as it is loud and clear on both ends, and the voice quality is much better than I expected for a device in this category. It even works perfectly over the Telus 4G VoLTE network, which is a relief given how many older bands are being phased out. The box is actually quite complete, including both a charger and a lanyard, and the dedicated emergency button is a great peace of mind feature for a parent. One of the cooler tech bits is that the FM radio works without needing to plug in headphones as an antenna, and it even supports Bluetooth headsets if you want to go wireless. It is a solid little unit for basic talk and text, though you should be aware of a few setup quirks. The flashlight while not that bright is a nice addition so you can see things in the dark. My SIM was not detected at first, so I had to manually go into the network settings, select Telus, and reboot the device to get it to register. Once that was done, it was smooth sailing.Just keep in mind that this is a “back to basics” experience. It does not support MMS, so do not expect to receive any picture messages from the family group chat. There is also no T9 predictive text, so be prepared to mash those keys the old fashioned way if you are sending a text. For a kid or as an emergency backup phone, it is a fantastic value that does exactly what it needs to do without any extra fluff.

Review: I love this mobile phone for my elderly mom to use.It has big buttons that is easy to see when she needs to make a call. The phone is designed with simplicity, sounds clear and loud. I love that it charges fast, has games, flashlight and more. It also has the option to connect to various prepaid mobile plans, like Bell, Rogers and others. Overall, a reliable mobile phone for my elderly mom to use.

Review: This phone does exactly what it’s meant to do—and does it well. The large buttons, clear screen, and loud speaker make it ideal for seniors, kids, or anyone intentionally stepping away from smartphones.Setup was straightforward, even without tech experience. Calls are clear, volume is strong, and the phone feels solid in the hand. Battery life is impressive, lasting several days without needing a charge, which is especially useful in colder months when batteries tend to drain faster. It’s also a great option for emergency or backup use.Pros:Very easy to navigateLoud, clear soundLong battery lifeUnlocked and reliableCons:Very basic featuresNo apps or internet browsingThis phone delivers peace of mind and simplicity.

Review: This is a somewhat decent BASIC mobile phone that seems reasonably well-made and for the most part works just fine with Rogers; however, it does NOT come with a desktop charger which is disappointing despite the fact that one of the ads shows as such. It has all of the basic functions that T100 has (one would think T200 is better than T100 but it’s actually the opposite) with the exception of the digital camera and the GPS, along with a slightly smaller screen of 1.7″ (and it’s TFT instead of IPS) instead of 2.0″ for T100. It also has a slightly smaller battery rated at 1050 mAh as opposed to 1500 mAh for T100.≡ Features* Alarm clock* Bluetooth* Calculator* Calendar* Flashlight* FM radio* Memo* MP3 player* SMS* Voice recorderThe screen is tiny by today’s standard but it’s still adequate for the most part and it’s a great secondary phone or something for the elderly/kids who just wanna have a phone; well, as a phone they are used to without any of the fancy stuff even though it does have more features than the cell phones from the early 90’s or prior. The major difference between this model and the T100 is actually the digital camera and the GPS. If you are pondering which one to get and if the digital camera is a good investment then let me tell you it most likely won’t be because it’s only a 0.3 MP (that’s right, and even some of the budget phones have around 15-40MP nowadays and that’s a whopping 50-130x difference) and it’s unlikely that the camera can be useful as a ‘camera’; however, it can still be used in an emergency situation of course provided that you’re aware of its limitations. The GPS also has limited functionalities. The rest of the difference is negligible as far as these basic phones are concerned. As a simple old-fashioned ‘phone’, this is more than adequate; however, I do find the navigation buttons (similar to T100) a bit difficult (or at least not as easy as expected) to use because they are too close to each other and/or the ENTER button at the center.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a somewhat decent basic mobile phone that seems reasonably well-made and for the most part works just fine with Rogers; however, it does feel a bit cheap and it doesn’t come with a desktop charger despite the fact it shows as such in one of the ads, which is disappointing. It’s somewhat reasonably priced at $60 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, features, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
