Title: Solid value and build quality
Review: From my fathers AR3a speakers to my present system I have appreciated good sound reproduction for 60 years. We have a set of Bose noise cancelling headphones my wife loves and these Edifiers come very close for much less money. I appreciate the LDAC codec for the future, battery life, and comfort. Don’t use them for phone calls, just listening. A case might be nice but really earbuds are easier for traveling..

Title: Configure the W830nb for Quality
Review: At first, these were low quality, now they are Excellent! This was my issue, not the cans. On Android (if your phone enables bluetooth LDAC), you need to connect with LDAC before judging. Click the bluetooth Edifier W830nb gear and select Audio and LDAC. Go to Developer Options on the phone Settings to ensure LDAC is on and secure. Distortion disappears. I’ll choose these Hphones over the others that I have- and they’re low cost. Your player or equalizer can customize further for your preference. Some say bass is missing- not now. For some reason, this also may have fixed my problem with low volume on Android to Airpod Pro 2s. Now, they are also outstanding on Android. Noise cancelling on W830nb is adequate/good, but not more, and does not reduce music quality as some do. They are light, feel good , but also seem cheap (my head still likes them). The manual does not speak English. Customer service (Natalie) was fast.Listen to Ziggy “Looking” to test clarity and quality. Bass is great when you tweak it. Some of the newer artist’s songs have a problem with distortion, but I’m putting that back on the song (don’t know what it is), but its the content source, not what the W830nb will do. Under $80 and better than my Bose or Sennheiser. Satisfied.

Title: Better than expected
Review: I was a bit skeptical before buying because I have tried many brands of headphones and always ended returning them.I am a fan of Bose earbuds since my first pair, which was the wired Quiet Comfort pre noise cancellation those were the best earbuds, then I move to Bluetooth earbuds from Bose as well but after a couple of years I have to renew them. Now this Edifier are my first experience with the brand, and even though this were not the ones that I actually wanted to buy, I decided to give them a try with a lower tier and have a feel of the brand.Having all of this in mind, they feel great to the touch even the outer plastic shell feels premium, the padding cups are soft and they do not make uncomfortable pressure to my head, which most headphones do.Sound quality is amazing and well balance, rich highs and deep bass, they sound like if I push the volume up all the way, they will blow my hair out, lol, so I don’t pass 60%.Battery life seems to good to be true but only time will tell. They came charge at 100% out of the box and after about 4 hours of non continuing use my phone still show they are at 100%.The buttons and controls are easy to use, big enough to feel which one I am pressing and they feel sturdy enough. The weight is well distributed and they do not feel heavy, I only use them for about 2 hours straight and they were comfortable.I haven’t tested the ANC enough to have an opinion but it seems like is good, it does have three modes, full ANC On, ambient noise and ANC Off, at this time I can’t tell the difference between the last two.My overall first impression is of satisfaction, value vs price and do not feel like there is anything better out there, sound is rich and powerful, they are pretty to look at too! They could be a 5* but I haven’t tried enough and that is why I don’t rate them that high.So after a couple of days of having them and a few hours of use, I am happy and I will recommend them.

Title: Sound bleeds with high noise cancelling, no headphone jack
Review: Sound quality is fantastic. Biggest problem was by far the music bleed when ANC was on high, turn it off and there’s no bleed. Also was not able to use it on my ps portal, as the USB c port doesn’t seem to receive audio. Odd choice. I returned it, got the edifer 950nb, and it’s everything I could’ve ever asked for in a pair of headphones.Pros: sound quality, flexibility, comfortability, battery, easy to use and set up, and cool lookingCons: audio bleed, no 3.5mm headphone jack, USB c to 3.5mm cable doesn’t seem to work on the devices I’ve tried. Major sound bleed when noise cancelling is high. No case, can feel cheap and plasticy, although I like the matte finish, it’s not what I hoped for.If I had to recommend, get this if all you’re into is Bluetooth music, just leave ANC on medium. It’s a decent price for how good the noise cancelling is. If you need to plug in a headphone jack, get the 950nb, as it comes with a case, headphone jack, and USB c cable. Also in my personal opinion, sounds a smidge better, no noise bleed, and I can use it with older devices (also, the build quality on the 950nb is so much better).Cons

Title: Solid bluetooth headphones
Review: These are a solid pair of headphones from a company with a solid reputation. The noise cancelling is a little overrated, compared to the airpods pro and max, I’d say its a solid 60 or 70 percent as efficient. Sound quality is good for a closed back set of headphones. Definitely worth the price!

Review: I’ve been using the Edifier W830NB headphones for a while now. For anyone considering a pair of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones that strike the perfect balance of performance and value, these are definitely worth a look at.First, the standout feature is the impressive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). The -45 dB ANC capability, ideal for use on a plane, in a coffee shop, or commuting. I can finally enjoy music etc without background distractions. The sound quality itself is excellent too, with clear highs, rich mids, and deep bass that doesn’t feel overwhelming.Battery life is another area where these headphones shine. With up to 94 hours of playtime, depending on use, ie noise cancelling will reduce this, as expected. This makes them especially handy for long haul flights—no more stressing about finding a charging port! They’re also super comfortable. The over-ear design, combined with plush cushioning, makes these headphones easy to wear for hours on end without any discomfort, the fit is secure yet gentle.Portability is a bonus as well. Despite their over-ear design, they fold up compactly, so they’re easy to stow away in a carry-on or backpack. They’re durable yet lightweight, making them a solid choice for travel.Lastly, the price was incredibly competitive for what you’re getting. It’s rare to find headphones with this level of sound quality, ANC, and battery life without spending a small fortune. If you’re looking for premium features at a reasonable price point, I would highly recommend looking at the Edifier W830NB, headphones.
