Title: well-made product that has survived well and done what I needed it to for a long time
Review: I’ve had these for more than a year and a half now, and quite like them. Ordered them on Feb 20, 2024, and today is September 9, 2025. I forget now what I paid for them, but I was *specifically* looking for earbuds I could use to hear audiobooks well from my phone while using my two-stage electric snowblower and while mowing the lawn with my electric mower. Both are quieter than gas engine models, but still much too loud to hear audiobooks from a phone that is set in my shirt collar by my ear and set to full volume. Regular style earbuds like those that come with Apple phones don’t block enough outside noise. They work well. These dampen outside noise enough that I can listen to and enjoy my audiobooks while running the equipment, while washing dishes at the sink, use power tools like saws and drills, or run the vacuum cleaner. I’ve let my wife use them just to dampen sound in environments that were too loud for her (restaurants that became over-noisy after we ordered and couldn’t just leave, movie theaters with the sound turned up too much, fireworks shows where we were just too close 🙂 ), and they let her stay comfortably without completely deafening her. They don’t block ALL outside noise, which is good. They aren’t meant to be silencing earplugs. As long as I turn off whatever I’m listening to, I can talk to the neighbors and other people without having to pull them out. My wife and I can still converse at the restaurants I mentioned. I’d hear it if emergency vehicles came up with sirens or my house collapsed or a tool or the vacuum cleaner stopped working. When I’m riding my bike around a nearby cemetery’s roads, I do hear vehicles approaching from behind. (Of course, on roads elsewhere, in traffic, etc., like going the couple of blocks to and from the cemetery, I keep at least one ear open, and I’ll never use them when driving a motor vehicle. These are not like the special electronic ear devices that only filter out certain frequencies.)They’re comfortable for me. My ears aren’t over-sensitive, so if you do have over-sensitive ears, you’ll have to judge comfort for yourself. But the rubber cups that nestle in your ear are soft and very flexible. They take a very little time to get used to the way you put them in if you haven’t used the style before, but after that, it’s easy enough. Trivial, and no obstacle to choosing these. I just put the bud into my ear *first*, and *then* wrap the over-the-ear part of the wire over my ear. The buds are not marked “left” and “right”, but I just fixed in my mind and remember that the one with the volume, etc. control bar on its wire is the right side, and I don’t have any trouble. When just holding the earbuds up to look at them, in the orientation you’ll use to wear them, with the back of the over-the-ear wire toward you and the actual in-the-ear bud on the other side of that and away from you … the in-the-ear parts point backward, towards you, rather than forward as you’d expect, since your ear canals run forward from their openings. That can be confusing, at least for me. But when you put them in, the wire just bends, or twists, a bit without causing any problem and actually holding the over-the-ear wire in place just a tiny bit more firmly. Again, I just remember that the bud with the volume, etc. control bar on its wire is the right side, and putting the bud in my ear followed by wrapping the wire over my ear, I don’t have any trouble. (“Ignore what it may look like, and just do it. It works.”)These use a USB-C (small, flat oval) connector, so they’re suitable for Android phones, later Apple phones, and any device with a USB-C output and/or input for sound. They DO have a built-in microphone, so you can indeed use them to talk on your phone, record your voice, or well, do anything else you’d do with a microphone. The over-the-ear wires hold the earbuds in place well in situations that would pull out earbuds with wires that just hand down, depending only on the buds to hold themselves in place. I have the phone in my right pants pocket, shirt pocket, or any of the pockets of my winter coats, with the earbuds in, and I don’t have a problem with them coming out, generally. If the cord snags on something and they get a *really* good sudden pull, they’ll come out (rather than have the wire break, which is good, right?). The cord is long enough that there is some slack even with my phone in my front pants pocket, so I do try to avoid letting the wire get caught on mower or blower controls, bike handlebars, or anything else. But again, it hasn’t been a problem, and the earbuds stay in my ears well in all kinds of situations.I like having the case because it lives permanently in my front pants pocket, whatever pants I happen to be wearing; and the case shares that space with two sets of keys and a car fob. It does the important job of keeping the earbuds functional (and not tangled with anything else!), and is relatively compact. It’s a firm plastic (not a rock-solid hard case) with a fabric covering, a zipper that’s held up just fine, and a small carabiner in case you want to hook it on a belt loop, backpack, or elsewhere instead of carrying it in a pocket or purse. The fabric shows *some* fuzzing and wear — what else do you expect after more than a year and a half in a pants pocket with two very full sets of keys?! — but honestly very little, even so, and only in places around the edges. The earbuds come with extra rubber ear pieces to accommodate different sizes of ear canals. Obviously, you’ll never need to switch out once you have the size best for you attached, but it’s nice that these are included so the product fits more people and without having to get new ear pieces separately.I’m not an audiophile and don’t have perfect pitch; I can’t comment on finer points of fidelity, so find another reviewer or order and test them for yourself to address those concerns. However, as “an average Joe” in this regard, I hear audiobooks, music, and phone conversations well and clearly, and nobody has complained about the sound coming to them in the handful or two of times I’ve used these earbuds for phone calls. I give it a thumbs-up here, too.All in all, a well-made product that has stood up and done what I needed it to for a long time, and I expect that to continue! 5 stars.

Title: Great in machine shop and daily life
Review: I am VERY rough with my earbuds and I lose track of things easily, but I’m only on my second pair of these after 2 years of full time machining. When the first pair went missing I tried out other brands, but the quality and ease-of-use for these were so good that I came back for another. These have put up with me accidentally yanking on them, dropping my phone, being chewed on by my cat, and being stuffed into coat pockets day-in and day-out, and the sound quality is just as great. I never have to worry about charging them (obviously) which puts them way above any wireless headphones for me. The ear pieces are very comfortable, and I will often drive home and continue using them as regular ear buds. They don’t have the strongest noise reduction, but it’s enough to make music audible at low volume in the machine shop, and occasionally protect my hearing as regular earplugs (great in sfx and bass heavy movie theaters). All in all, they work great – and for this price I don’t think I’ll be getting anything else.

Title: I can hear my music clearly, no heavy cardo, and save my hearing. Used in a motorcycle helmet.
Review: Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using these on my motorcycle to avoid hearing loss and to act as ear plugs. I was struggling to find a headphone solution to use in my helmet when I ride my motorcycle. Ear plugs alone was okay but I was unable to take calls or enjoy music on a long tour ride. A Cardo with helmet speakers were too crude and heavy. There is nothing worse than pulling up with a cardo hanging off your helmet and blasting the audio so loud to overcome the sound deadening of your ear plugs. Not to mention the stares you get when people can hear what you are listening to 5 feet away. With these I can hear my music clearly, no heavy cardo, and save my hearing. These were the perfect solution, good decibel reduction and act as ear plugs when no music is playing. The wired connection works great for my setup. The only thing I have an issue with is the lack of retainers on the silicone ear pieces. I have almost lost the ear pieces when I have taken them off. You have to be super careful.

Title: Seem to be good in helmets
Review: Using these in my helmet to hopefully prevent additional tinnitus. They are very comfortable and fit well. They block enough of the noise of the wind and road while still allowing me to hear emergency vehicles and surroundings as long as I keep music low. Sound quality is very good, although I’m not particularly that picky. Being connected to my Cardo helmet set the buttons don’t do anything but that’s fine.

Title: Brittle construction. Avg. life of product: 3mos.
Review: I love the secure fit and exterior sound reduction. The cost is reasonable, but at what cost? I’m now I’m on my 3rd pair in less than a year because every component is so cheaply made. On my first pair, the control panel on the cord for play/pause and volume quit working in less than 2 months. On both sets I’ve had, the plastic yellow plates on the outside of the headphone fall off, the ear inserts constantly fall off, there’s no ridge to hold them in place to the stem and on this second pair, I’ve had it less than 6 months, the jack broke clean in two just removing it from the security case. United States designed, China made. This has got to be the most disheartening set of quality issues from a product with so much potential. Please make it better! Your products barely survive the 90 day return policy.

Title: GOOD.
Review: I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews, This product should really be marketed for people working in noisy construction environments. For example, in landscaping, leaf blowers are a real headache, adding to the already minor discomfort of wearing earbuds, and these earbuds completely cancel out that annoying noise. While the ear tips might be slightly uncomfortable, it’s nothing compared to the loud noise of the machinery. And besides silencing the noise, they also have good build quality. If you’re looking for comfort, buy iPhone headphones; if you’re looking for utility and protection, buy this.

Review: They’re decent quality but my qualms are with the design. No little “L” or “R” on the headphones to tell which ear they go in at a glance. Sometimes takes a couple tries due to the hard formed wire part that goes around your ear flipping around easily and creating interesting combinations which sometimes take time to figure out. You can’t easily put it in your ear with one hand either due to the half baked design, so if somebody talks to you or you need to hear something it’s a hassle. I find the audio quality to be decent but they vibrate in my ears on a weird frequency causing itching which I’ve never had happen before. Listening to podcasts for extended periods mainly. Turned the bass completely off in equalizer settings to reduce this. Would not buy again but I will continue to use them until they stop working as they’re not horrible

Review: Relación costo beneficio, bastante bien. El sonido es de buena calidad, se siente un poco corriente el plástico del control. Lo unico que no me gustó es que te hace un poco chicharron la oreja
