Title: Versatile device with changeable lenses
Review: looked at several types of these viewers. This one was chosen because of the interchangeable lenses. They are magnetic and just snap into place. They provide a very close view, a wide angle, and a view good for soldering. This is a solid aluminum post and table. The lights have adjustable intensity. I first tried it plugged in as a usb on my PC. Worked like a camera, and like a storage device. This is where snapshots and videos are saved. When I unplugged it I was pleasantly surprised it has a built-in battery so I can take this anywhere to use! One unplugged from the PC the front panel buttons worked well for getting screen snapshots or videos. While this was a little pricier, it seems to be fine quality and worth the extra $$

Title: Good work tool
Review: I bought it for my work in a soil laboratory. The image quality is excellent. It was a bit tricky to scale the photos to take actual measurements, as the microscope has a tool that scales the images, but only to measure the size of different parts of the image. Anyway, I am happy with this purchase.

Title: Versatile
Review: Bought this for my college age son. He has used this for viewing botany slides to helping with his art work when focusing on extremely small areas. I was amazed at the views and versatility of this microscope! An added bonus was that he could record and take videos with this.

Title: Microscope used with examing coins (not very useful)
Review: So I bought this microscope for viewing coins. And here are some disadvantages of it for viewing coins and what is supplied::1.) You can’t zoom in on the coin to see closer details of the year and letters. You just see one level of magnification, like about 5x. I have a 3x hand magnifying glass and it magnifies the coin a little more than that.2.) The wide lens is the only lens you can use to view coins, which they do mention in the description, but I was hoping you can zoom in on the coin or maybe even use the other 2 lens with some type of magnification.3.) The USB cable they supply to plug into the outlet receptacle is less than 2 feet long. Be prepared to buy a longer one.4.) The outlet receptacle can only handle one cable, but you really need 2 of them. Be prepared to get a receptacle that can handle 2 USB cables.I only used it for looking at coins, so I don’t know if the other things they mention will work.I returned the item for a refund.

Title: A good starter digital scope.
Review: The electronics of this scope are good – the image quality, MicroSD storage, USB-C and HDMI ports, auxiliary lighting and remote. The mechanical adjustments are where the scope falls a bit short, as the rack and pinion mechanism has excessive freeplay which make focusing a bit fussy to dial in. There are three interchangeable lenses, but only two storage cases are provided. All in all, a good value as a starter digital scope.
