Title: Sees things you’ll never see with the naked eye! It’s great.
Review: My son is a coin collector so I bought this for his birthday and he is crazy about this thing! He says once he got the hang of it, he is able to see every minute detail that he could not see with the naked eye in his coins The clarity is amazing! He sorted through a bunch of coins and was able to find several mistrikes that he had not seen before with just a jewelers loop. He is having a lot of fun with this. It is small enough to stow away easily in the box and bring it out whenever he gets a chance to work with his coins. I ordered memory cards for his stocking so he can start taking pictures of the coins. I think this was a pretty good deal for the technology involved and I know he will get a lot of use out of it. It seems to be of good quality and durable. Nice little gift for any stamp, coin collector, reloader to inspect brass etc… There are a lot of uses for this. Would buy again.

Title: Very impressive for the price
Review: For the price, this little scope can’t be beat. It does not come with a memory card, but it works just fine without one. The light on it is very bright and the picture is much clearer than I expected at this price point. The image resolution is relatively low but also much better than I was expecting at this price. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the scope and look forward to using it.My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that it the digital zoom is grainy. It is much more effective to physically move the camera closer to the object to achieve a clear picture at smaller scale but this does not allow for room to work on the object while under the scope. It is fine for inspecting something in very fine detail but I would look for something with a better optical zoom if you would like perfect clarity at high zoom levels.

Title: High quality at a low price
Review: Easy to use, clarity is clear and adjustments are precise. This inexpensive microscope is replacing a $600 one that the manufacturer decided to not support past Windows 10. I am using Windows 11 on my new computer, and it won’t work. Oh well, I bought this one, it works just as well, and I saved $565.00!

Title: Decent for the Price – Just Keep Expectations Realistic
Review: I think this is a decent product for what it is, but don’t expect a high-end microscope. I wasn’t looking for professional-grade quality, so I’m not disappointed, but I do think buyers should be realistic. It’s frustrating when people expect $1,000 performance from a product that costs around $30–$50. You’re not paying for premium equipment here, and that’s okay, just be realistic about your expectations!I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, who’s currently into coin collecting. He didn’t specifically ask for a microscope, but I thought it might be something he’d enjoy. For the price (under $50), I was actually pleasantly surprised. I opened it early to test it out and make sure everything worked before gifting it, just in case I needed to return it.The assembly was simple, and I tested it using a penny. The zoom/focus works well, and the screen is surprisingly crisp for this price range. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, the stand is a bit wobbly. The microscope camera is lightweight, but the plastic base is even lighter, which makes the whole setup top-heavy. Even small actions, like adjusting the zoom, pressing buttons, or repositioning a coin, can cause it to shake. For some users, that might be annoying. Personally, I don’t think my son will mind it, and I’m sure he’ll figure out how to work around it.Another minor issue is the height of the stand. It’s fairly short, so you can’t get the entire coin in the field of view, even with a small coin like a dime. You only see a cropped portion unless you reposition the coin multiple times. However, the included manual suggests a workaround: turn the camera facing the other way and place the stand on top of a book (or stack of books) to raise the overall height – it includes pictures in the booklet showing you how to do this. This allows you to view the entire coin in one frame and then fine-tune the focus for detail.Overall, it’s a solid beginner microscope for casual use, especially for kids or hobbyists. Just manage your expectations and understand what you’re getting for the price.

Title: Worked VERY well for the infrequent use I have. Being able to photo an entire coin would be better.
Review: I found this easy to use and worth the money (in the context of an coin collector but not a dealer).I have used it to check specific markings of coins I have to identify a few specific variants. I have used it a few times to show detail on the 3-4 coins I have sold online the past year (I had a few duplicates). I find it easy to focus and zoom in, and it connects nicely to my computer if I want. The only bad thing is that you generally can’t get a picture of the entire coin at once (it doesn’t zoom out enough… even for a small dime or penny). I solved this by spinning it around on its base and taking a picture from a higher up view… but it doesn’t work as well. As this is specifically a coin microscope, I would have liked it to be able to have the utility to take a picture of an entire coin (a dollar size coin at least). However, it is admittedly a lower cost item, and I was able to make it work when I needed to, so I am still giving it a 5* review. But I might look elsewhere if you are trying to get something that will be used to sell/showcase many coins for sale.

Review: Fonctionne parfaitement.

Review: I recently purchased the Elikliv LCD Digital Coin Microscope (EDM4), and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. As a coin collector, I needed a reliable tool to inspect the finer details of my collection, and this microscope delivered.Design and Build QualityThe 4.3-inch LCD screen is bright and clear, making it easy to see the details of coins without straining my eyes. The build feels sturdy for its price point, and the adjustable stand is a great feature for getting the right angle and focus.PerformanceThe magnification goes up to 1000x, which is more than enough for my needs. I was able to inspect mint marks, imperfections, and other intricate details on coins effortlessly. The image quality is sharp, especially when the 8 adjustable LED lights are properly positioned. These lights are a game-changer for ensuring consistent illumination, even in low-light conditions.Ease of UseSetting up the microscope was straightforward. It’s plug-and-play for both my Windows laptop and my MacBook, which was a pleasant surprise. I could easily switch between viewing on the LCD screen and using the PC view to save images or share details with fellow collectors.VersatilityWhile I bought it primarily for coin inspection, I’ve found it useful for other hobbies like examining stamps and small electronic components. The adjustable magnification and ability to save images on my computer make it versatile for various tasks.A Few Minor DownsidesThe only thing I wish was improved is the height adjustment mechanism, which can be a bit stiff at times. Also, while the screen size is sufficient, a slightly larger display would have been a nice touch.ConclusionOverall, the Elikliv EDM4 is an excellent tool for hobbyists and professionals alike. It combines affordability, functionality, and ease of use into one compact package. If you’re a coin collector or someone who works with small objects regularly, I highly recommend this microscope. It’s a solid investment for the price!
