Title: Great Light – Substantial Value
Review: Amazing price, especially labeled “Energizer”. I bought two for power out emergencies, along with a suppy of “D” batteries (already stocked like most people with AA and AAA) and I am quite pleased with the light output, light level options, USB port, and the secure screw on bottom – connection. Running on D batteries, these lights will work perfectly for stationary and mobile purposes. I am not sure how they work with only three AA bateries, but if one runs out of D’s it is a great option.There is heft and stability in the units when loaded with the three D’s. The light level choice and available nightlight for sleeping will allow conserving batteries and extending runtime (the claims are pretty impressive as it is).Serious value for the purpose they are needed.

Title: Cheep but awesome storm prep!
Review: Super performance for next to nothing!I’ve had the same d size batteries ini e for 5 years. Hardly used it. Maybe a couple of hours. Batteries sill ready 1.5 volts! No leaks. High setting lights up an entire room,Candlelight mode is perfect and lasts forever. AA option is fantastic feature. Great value even if you pay the full price. New version with USB port is a great feature especially if you have a dead cell phone and need to charge it to make an emergency phone call.

Title: Great for power outages
Review: I bought a few of these for my home in case of power outages and they work well. The light is diffused by the white plastic which is great as it does not shine in your eyes. I had camping lanterns from another popular brand and the light was bright and blinding and very unpleasant to use. I also bought these for each of our elderly parents so they could have one in the house in case of emergency as were prone to hurricane and blizzard conditions which can knock out power.

Title: Good emergency light
Review: While this isn’t exactly what I was looking for, it will serve as an emergency light source when needed. I would pass it by in a store, as it’s lighter in weight than I’d like. I read the dimensions but somehow it seemed small when I opened the box. The package fit in our mailbox. It’s the good product for the price. Will go to very bright.

Review: Works OK. Others reviews claim it is very bright, but I do not agree. It seems like it should be brighter for its size, and despite what the seller claims, it will NOT light up a large room adequately. The dimmest setting is so dim it is almost useless except in total darkness.Be aware that this lamp is not rechargeable (to be fair, it doesn’t claim to be). The USB port is only for using the lamp’s batteries to charge another item. I can’t evaluate how long the batteries last, because I haven’t used it enough.It is annoying that you have to cycle through all 3 light modes to turn it off. If you are using it on low to preserve your night vision, cycling through high while turning it off ruins it.It makes a useable general purpose camping light for a tent, but its performance is not impressive.
