Title: I can see clearly now
Review: I had excellent vision all my life until a few years ago when I realized it’s getting harder for me to read in dim light or anything that is written in a small font. Well, I guess that’s what you can expect when you approach (and pass) the big 50. Finally I went to an oculist who confirmed my eyes are fine and my only problem is age. They also me I can get either prescription glasses from them or buy generic reading glasses with the proper diopters (+2.0). Easy choice.I bought 16 or 20 pairs of these altogether to place them everywhere in my house. Hate hunting them down, so it’s good to have a couple of pairs in each room. At the price these are sold for, that’s still very affordable.I tend to look horrible with glasses, but these work rather well for me. I got all my pairs in gun metal and I love the way they look. I have a pretty big head, but these fit very well and are comfortable. I forgetLast but not least, the quality is simply amazing! I don’t exactly treat these very carefully, and I tend to be a bit clumsy. I drop them on the hardwood floor, sit on them, occasionally throw them across the room (don’t ask). So far none of them took any lasting damage!! And if they get bent, you can just twist them back into shape.Highly, highly recommended!

Title: Pleasantly Surprised!
Review: I’ve spent a lot of money on reading glasses over the last ten years. I’ve used Foster Grants and other name brands that cost a lot more money than I spent on these. I was skeptical about the quality of these glasses and had fairly low expectations when I placed the order, but gave them a try because the reviews were very favorable. Having now received them and inspected and worn them, I would have to be crazy to pay what I have been paying for other glasses. The frame seems sturdy, the spring hinges snap sharply into place, the nose pads are comfortable and adjustable and I didn’t have to spend a lot of time bending them into shape before I could even use them as I have had to do with almost all others that I’ve purchased.

Title: Great value!
Review: As my reading glasses usually meet a premature demise either from me losing them or the dog breaking them I decided to minimize my investment in reading glasses yet still be able to read (!!). They got here intact, look great and wear great. ONE WORD OF ADVICE, however…. be very aware of the magnification / power you need for reading !! I ordered, and received 2.5x strength which is a little too strong for my comfort. Obviously this is not a “ding” on the vendor as he provided what I asked for.

Title: I’m highly pleased by the apparently quality of these glasses
Review: I’m highly pleased by the apparently quality of these glasses. They’re measurably stronger than glasses I can get for similar pricing at the various dollar stores and drug stores that offer them. They’re visually accurate, totally filling my need for up-close visual acuity. Their only drawback over the store brand is weight, as the extra metal in the frames make them noticeably heavier, not so much as to make them tiresome, but it’s noticeable.I ordered them through Amazon (versus buying in the stores) because I could no longer find 2.25’s in the retail locations. I’m glad I did. I recommend these to anyone able to use the common lens diopters.

Review: for the price these are good, but don’t expect them to last long. Any little pressure causes them to bend (they are not from an elastic type of metal which bent goes back to the original configuration). Once, twice bent, then they break. Otherwise lens are clear, fit well.

Title: Eyekepper – Not what they used to be (2025)
Review: For many years Eyekepper 3 pair Valupac reading glasses were my go-to. I’d get various magnification levels in different colors to organize them. Many times, especially around the house, standard prescription bi-focal glasses just wouldn’t cut it, as they are set up specifically for either very close-in work (reading), or distance viewing (driving), with no coverage in-between. Progressives were infuriatingly useless, as they have a very narrow vertical “focus band” that spreads out less than the width of a pencil eraser on some versions, to at most the width of a narrow dime on others. You do not have full range of vision with progressives. So having a range of magnifications to do work at varying distances around the house (workshop, computer, kitchen, etc) is essential. Well, the last pack of Eyekepper glasses were the worst. They were not clear at all, I could not focus whatsoever, and they gave me headaches and balance issues. Be warned: their quality control isn’t what it used to be. Be prepared to send them back if they are not perfect for your specific eyesight issues.
