Title: A game changer!
Review: My dear, otherwise healthy, and very mentally alert 94 year-old father had to give up reading books andnewspapers, and his beloved Sudoku puzzles because his eyesight was so bad. Very heartbreaking for him and very frustrating for me as I didn’t know how to help him. Magnifying glasses and reading glasses were no longer of much use. I found this digital magnifier here on Amazon and my father is back to reading anything he wants to. He is so happy!It took about 2 days for him to get used to using a digital magnifier, and he is now a pro using it. He gets to read his books, the local paper from beginning to end, and at least one difficult-level Sudoku puzzle a day. He recharges it when not using it and during the night. It is helpful that the company included an extra battery in case he forgets to recharge his battery.When using magnifiers or reading glasses he was at the highest level, which was not enough and clarity was a big issue. This digital magnifier has multiple magnifying levels and different font or background colors so he could find the right combination for him, and the print is very clear and distinct. The good thing about the digital magnifier is that he is on one of the lowest levels it provides, which means that if his eyesight should continue to deteriorate he has higher levels on the magnifier to accomodate his situation.If you or a loved one needs help with reading, I highly recommend this one.
