Title: Heart Rate Monitor
Review: I believe that the chest strap does an excellent job of monitoring my heart rate throughout the various forms of exercise that I engage in. The monitor offers me reliable and up-to-date information on my heart rate, regardless of whether I am doing aerobic exercises on the treadmill, lifting weights, or going for a run. These readings give me the impression that I can rely on them, which enables me to maintain my goal heart rate zone throughout the many sorts of exercises that I do. Even after strenuous physical activity, the strap itself is not too constricting or uncomfortable to wear, and it does not seem excessively tight or constrictive. In addition to that, it is waterproof, which is a considerable advantage for me since I prefer to use it when I go for runs outside in a variety of weather situations. Although I have used it with both my phone and my fitness app, the connection between the two is completely effortless. I don’t have to worry about any network difficulties, and the data syncs up quite rapidly, which is essential when I’m monitoring my performance over a period of time. In addition, it is convenient that the device is compatible with a variety of applications; this means that I was not restricted to just one or two choices.

Title: Stopped working in 30 days.
Review: Update May 26, 2025: I’ve used this for a month, and it stopped working a week ago. It was great when it was working. I’ve changed the batteries in the watch and chest strap. I tried two different chest straps. The results are the same. Heart rate monitoring is erratic and inaccurate. It starts and stops randomly during exercise. At this point it is useless. I loved the large readout and simplicity. But it is just junk. I originally gave this 5 starts after a week of use.April 30, 2025 – EZON please respond. The only way the calories burned counter makes any sense is to move the decimal point one place to the left. EZON please tell us how to read the calorie counter.REVIEW – This product is fantastic. The HRM seems to be very accurate. The chest strap is comfortable, works fine, and seems durable to me. (TIP on putting the chest strap on. Don’t fiddle with the clasp. Leave the clasp fastened and put the chest strap on like you put a pair of shorts on. Just slide it up over your legs to your chest. Takes 5 seconds at most and you don’t tear up the clasp.) The setup instructions are easy to follow and get an A- by Chinese instruction standards. Operating the buttons to go from one function to another is straight forward and intuitive. You can cycle through calories, stopwatch, time, and heart rate while exercising with ease. The display is super easy to read. If you want a simple HRM that doesn’t connect to your phone, you will love this. The only downside is the fact that this device does not store any data or report out max and average heart rate of your exercise session. It just does a fantastic job of reading your heart rate. Again, EZON needs to explain how to read the calorie counter. My guess is they are displaying incorrect kcal units on the watch.

Title: Just wanted to monitor my heart rate…perfect!
Review: I just recently got into exercise as a senior citizen. I read the book Younger Next Year by Chris Crowley and Henry Lodge. Chris insisted that a heart rate monitor is necessary. I tried a cheap wrist model, but it was inaccurate. So, I wanted one on a chest strap, because I think they are more accurate, and I just wanted to see what my heart rate was by looking at my wrist. Other models seems to want to interface with your phone, but I don’t want to carry my phone when I’m exercising or have to look at it to see what my heart rate is. Or you can interface to a smart watch, but I don’t want a smart watch. Or you could buy an expensive wrist unit that would interface to your phone, the gym equipment, track your exercise, keep a spreadsheet, and run your microwave at home. Um. I just wanted to see my heart rate. This model was perfect for my needs. The chest strap is comfortable. It was easy to set up the watch. The watch isn’t particularly stylish, but it’s got huge numbers and it’s easy to use and that’s what I wanted. I checked the accuracy of the heart rate against medical equipment and it is accurate. Although I wasn’t interested in this, it somehow automatically paired with the treadmill at the gym so the treadmill shows my heart rate. Huh. I am completely satisfied with this unit. It does exactly what I wanted it to do.I have read reviews that the batteries are hard to change. I don’t have experience with that yet, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it….next year….when I’m a year younger. 😉

Title: EZON heart rate monitor lost connection?
Review: I gave this heart rat monitor 5/5 and I liked it so much, I bought another, to have as a spare! The chest strap does have to have some moisture on the pads in order to read your heart rate, and other high voltage devices (car ignition, lawn mower) will give false heart rates, keep that in mind.I have used this for about 2 years now, I changed the chest strap battery once or twice (CR2032 cell), and today the watch stopped reading the chest strap unless it was REALLY close (2-3″). I pulled out my spare, and it saw the same chest strap just fine. I thought “oh well, something must be wrong with the watch receiver…”. This afternoon I decided to try changing the watch battery (even though everything else seems to work fine) it is a CR2032 also. That was it!Now the “old watch sees the chest strap at full arms length from the strap.I hope this helps you

Title: Reliability & low price.
Review: I was unsure about this heart monitor for my daily aerobic use after reading some of the negative reviews. I’m glad I didn’t take those reviews as gospel because this sensor & watch combo work great. My Lifecycle is an old reliable partner, powered by only s 9V battery, nothing like today’s electronic marvels. Surprisingly, the chest sensor is able to pick up the heart monitor from the Polar elliptical too and both of heart monitors have the same reading.I would recommend this low cost alternative monitor. The only thing I don’t like is the watch band. It’s to hard to buckle and unbuckle.
