Title: Good quality protector, but the stand is cheaply made and easily broken.
Review: The case is awesome! It protects the kindle from my kids who can be rough with them, so it is heavy duty. It is easy to install, but it is a pain to get the case off. It took me a few tries. My issue with the the stand. After maybe 10 minutes, my son went to open the stand, and it snapped right off. It was a tiny little plastic piece that was holding it on. So the quality of the stand is lacking, but for my kids it isn’t a big deal. But it serves its purpose in protecting the tablets from everyday kid life.

Title: Few positives and many negatives.
Review: First, the positives: case is very durable and the HD8 Fire Kindle ports line up exactly with the “holes” in the case, the included screen cover does protect the screen from scratches, ect. and the color of the back is very vibrant and there are many choices of colors to choose from and the “kickstand” works as promised. The negatives: the case comes in two pieces, the screen protector and the colored “back part” , to assemble, you first have to separate the pieces with a coin that you place into a divot and pry the pieces apart. Not easy to do as the the pieces are REALLY tightly attached to each other. When you get them apart, you place your device on the screen protector part and then attach that to the colorful “back part” and snap the two together. Sounds easy but this is not an easy thing to accomplish, once the parts are put together with your Kindle in between the pieces you have to press around the edges to make a tight fit, which does not happen, there is a gap left on the bottom side where the case just will not snap together. Finally, the screen protector itself has a cross hatch pattern which somewhat obscures the clarity of your screen. I am keeping the case as returning the item is more of a problem than its worth and i cannot afford to buy a different case at this time. No, I would not recommend this product.
