Title: Very useful, portable, versatile and user-friendly
Review: I am so glad that I bought this. Space on planes is difficult to come by, and I crochet & knit to fill time on flights. Add to it that while I am not considered medically obese, I still have a tummy which takes up space and makes the fold down trays uncomfortable. And a beyond-average, well-endowed chest which takes up far too much room.Which is where this handy item comes in! With this, I did not have to have my tray table down to work on my fiber arts. It was easy to bend into shape, hang in the holder and set my phablet (giant phone with a stylus) in place so I could read my pattern(s). Having it suspended gave me more room on the plane for my hands and arms to move. My family did not have to worry about my elbows jabbing into them at all.The Flight Flat seems very sturdy too. It didn’t budge or sag at all on any of my flights, then bent back into shape easily (not perfectly, but close enough to make it fantastic for slipping into my project bag, day pack and purse).I did not have a reason to try my 16″, drawing tablet on it, but I think this one would be a bit small for it. Smaller tablets and ipads I think would work well though.Aside from on planes, I found this was great for at hotels and when I went for solo meals to escape my family. Beds, tables, bedside tables. Pretty much anything I tried it on, the flight flap was stable.I think it works great and is worth the cost. This is definitely something I would recommend for people who travel a lot and will end up buying more if my family keeps traveling this much.

Title: Simple and does the trick, I am a fan.
Review: [5 month update]:Still going. I expected it to die by now to be honest, but its still good to go.Nothing exciting to report other than cleaning it with alcohol wipes or windex will always treat you better than most other cleaners.[2 month update]:20k or so miles later and I’m still loving the flap. Admittedly I’m excited about trying the new Airhook 2.0 – the Flap is still a Simple concept, gets no grief from the TSA, and disappears into my bag behind my notebook every time.Works great at holding up phones, battery packs and even headphones (not all at the same time).I can see why people have problems with “tearing” it, you just need to be careful and remember not to jam it if there isn’t enough clearance behind the tray. Also remember, the closer to the edge the more flex in the tray.Great product.[Original Review]:As an avid Airhook user I was looking for something a little slimmer to stick in my bag with more flexibility and the Flight Flap delivers. Its super light, holds up my phone, offers no TSA hassle, no stewardess grief, and it slides into my bag next to my notebook just fine.My primary usage for this while flying is with an iPhone in landscape mode, watching movies and connected to power, or in portrait mode with music playing (either of these is with bluetooth headphones). It supports both of these usage modes very well. The flap is nice because as it claims, you can build a tray-stand if your meal tray is down, or you can fold your tray up and (on some planes) tuck it behind. Out near the edge works better btw as the flex in the meal tray helps. For me, I have found the “magazine pocket” to be the best spot for me. Stick 1/2 of it down behind the magazines and bend the other half around like a tray and voila. If you have a first class seat this usually means you can use your meal tray and still watch your device.I have not tried it with an iPad so I cannot speak to that, and I should also point out that your phone is only resting on this. Unlike the Airhook or Joby products there is no ‘grip’ holding the device in place so it is possible that it could bounce off if you have a lot of turbulence or you don’t leave a big enough lip when you bend it.I have not had issues with it getting ripped as others have reported but I have not used it in tight clearance spaces that much yet either. Will update this review accordingly if my experience changes. As of now, I plan to get a second one to put in my partners travel bag as well. Thanks for reading my review and if there’s any questions or more details you’d like to see here let me know.-Chris

Title: Convenient and useful
Review: This worked exactly as advertised. I watched a movie with my cell on a plane and it was easy to position and put it back flat when done. It is also light weight. I deducted one star because I did not find a place to hang it on the top of the seat like shown in the advertising. That would have been ideal. I recommend this product.

Title: Works and easy to use
Review: This is a simple idea yet perfect for what I need. I was expecting things with multiple joints, clasps, etc., more than what I need for my treadmill. This innovative holder popped up in my Amazon feed. It’s flexible and sturdy, requires no assembly, and doesn’t require awkward manipulation. This is perfect for both my iPhone and iPad.

Title: A very functional product that will show you just how cheaply it’s made quickly
Review: The concept is fantastic. I love it. It’s versatile, light, and just works.Product quality leaves something to be desired. Especially at a $20 price for what is essentially a tin sheet wrapped in foam.Photos were taken after this flaps forth flight landed. Four uses. There are already rips and tears in the foam. The printed ink is running away like it owes me money. .

Title: Molds to Any Surface and Stays There
Review: This low-tech item is PERFECT! I can take it anywhere in the house and see my phone easily, even in bed while binging on my favorite shows. Because this product molds to any position I can prop it up on a pillow. In the kitchen, home office or living room, I can multitask easily while watching cooking shows, DIY shows, sports, etc.

Review: For such a simple piece of technology, it works really effectively. It’s slim and lightweight, and it can help in a variety of situations. And it’s pretty stable when it’s all set up, would recommend to anyone who does a lot of travel (especially planes)
