Title: Best meter I’ve found and strips are half the price.
Review: This is a great meter and strips are half less than others. I ran a little test with this meter, 4 other name brand meters and a Dexcom and kept track of 10 different rounds and this meter was the “winner” (what seemed the most accurate and consistent). Hard to track and estimate this stuff but I think I did well enough. I love the chunky strips. The whole thing is sturdy and reliable imho.

Title: I really like the monitor!
Review: I really like this monitor! It also has an app that tracks your levels and you can run reports on the levels you have checked, including 30 days worth of levels which I really like! The monitor was very easy to set up and the directions are clear and easy to follow, and written in large font. It comes with 3 sets of directions. The first sheet is written in very large print and show you haw to set up the machine and check your blood sugar. There is a second set of directions on how to set up the app and monitoring system so you have it on your phone. This one is in both English and Spanish. In the directions you are given a QR code to scan that takes you directly to the App. It also tells you how to search for it in the App store. I have an IPhone and I set it up with the QR code and I found it to be very easy. I consider my tech skills to be moderate, leaning towards the beginning side. The third set of directions are the complete directions and the only place to find information on using the control solution. I comes with a warranty cared and an Emergency card you can leave with your machine.When you set it up, you can set up your app for specific times to check you glucose level and the machine will assign it to the closest time. I started by checking before and after lunch and the machine correctly attached it to those times in the monitoring app. You can adjust your meal times/bedtime (the pre-programed ones). The machine appears to be putting it to the closest time on your daily schedule. However after I watched the video (the QR code on the cheat sheet in the carrying case) I discovered when you put the test strip in the machine you can tap the green bottom to choose if it is pre-meal, post-meal or have no time stamp with the test. I left my schedule as the times pre-set into the program. The App has a lot of functions to view results. For example: In the Results tab (the bottom tabs) you can look at it like a calendar under the “mealtimes” tab, and the “readings” tab you can view it just test by test. There is a place to manually chart your A1C, blood pressure and pulse. You can also manually add glucose levels. You can also link the App to your Apple Health app.I REALLY like what this machine and the App offer as far as monitoring.This product I purchased was ONLY the monitor, no test strips and no lancets or control tests were included.I have been comparing this to the monitor that I have been using and there is a 15-20 point difference. I am using blood from the exact same finger stick so I am not sure which machine is correct. I went to look for the control solution for this machine and I cannot find it to purchase it. I had a hard enough time finding the test strips so I am hoping this is just because this is a new product and everything is not as readily available.I am going to continue to check with both machines to see if they trend the same. When I can find some control solution I would like to check this machine.Again, I REALLY like this machine, I hope to find the control solution and an easier time finding the test strips. Currently I can only find the test strips in boxes of 50 and they are on the pricier side.⭐️ 1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable. It has some faults, but the quality is adequate for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable; it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.
