Review: In researching undercounter lights and asking around, I decided to order this set and am pleased with them.They were easy to install and the separate button switch and slide dimmer are perfect.I only needed three lights but bought the set of five. In case one fails some day, as electrical things sometimes do, I’ll have instant replacement light module.The light is easy and bright. Our whole family is happy with them.

Review: So far, these lights are very nice. I installed under my cabinets. The fixture basically disappears, which is what I wanted. I want to see just the light emitted, not the fixture. I used the double-sided tape to stick to the bottom of the cabinet. There are too ways of connecting the fixtures end-to-end: a connector or a wire. I used the wire since I wanted to space the lights under the length of cabinets, probably 4 feet total. I used two of the three fixtures. I drilled holes through the “lips” of the cabinet to feed the wire through. Keep the wire under the cabinet and out of the line of sight. Overall, the installation was very clean and the lights provide a great work area. Even my wife remarked she really like the lights without being prompted. (hey men, that’s a real winner!)I would have liked the ability to obtain a “long wire” or to extend the wires between fixtures. There is a space I either can’t or don’t want to put a fixture. For example, I have a set of cabinets on one side of the cook top and another set on the other side. I don’t want to put a light directly above the cook top because of the steam and grease. I’m not sure if the fixtures would deal well with those conditions. Therefore, a long wire that spans the space would be great. My solution was to buy another set of lights to feed from the other side. But now, I have two controllers, two dimmers and required to turn the lights on from two spots. Not overly inconvenient, but would be nice to control the entire series from one switch.

Title: Nice lights
Review: I’ve tried many different under-the-cabinet lights. I tried several that were rechargeable. None of them had a charge that lasted more than a couple of days. To much of a pain to take them down and recharge as much as I do my cell phone. These are electric, easy to put up and have a dimmer on them so I can use them as tasks lighting or dim them for ambient lighting. I hid the cord with a cord hider I purchased at Lowes. They look great.

Title: Beware of failing dimmer switches
Review: Look nice and easy to install, but I’ve had multiple of the included dimmer switches fail. The switch/dimmer are really nice when they work, but when they fail you can’t buy a replacement. They don’t/won’t sell them separately, which means you need to buy an entire new set to get a dimmer, which could very well fail again? Something to think about before purchasing.
