Title: Will last as long as you need it to. Wait for a sale though
Review: Upgrading from a Pixel 4a and this thing is pretty neat. I couldn’t find the 9A at the sale price since the announcement of this so I just spent the 500$ on this and called it a day. it came with a 100$ gift card directly from amazon so if anything wait for it to be on sale for 400$ or less. It does everything you need a phone to do and its not too big so it still fits in pockets nicely. it feels very premium and smooth and the higher refresh rate screen is a nice upgrade for people on older phones still. my only gripe is that the fingerprint sensor is under the screen as compared to the 4A where its on the back and it actually feels slower to respond than my 4A. it is a little on the heavier side imo but there’s not many phones of this caliber in the price range. The AI call screening is something id gladly pay extra for every time i upgrade. I just wish it had a headphone jack and an upgradeable storage.

Title: Disappointed
Review: I’m a little disappointed that Google didn’t enable live call translation on the Pixel 10a.Update 03/07/26: Fingerprint sensor can not detect my finger 😅. Don’t waste your money for this phone.

Title: Fingerprint reader is unbelievably bad!
Review: Extremely disappointed. I came from a Pixel 5a that I was very reluctant to give up because it just worked great for everything that I care about. But since it had become too old and possibly insecure I had to move forward. Logical choice was of course the 10a. I quickly discovered that the the in-screen fingerprint reader is garbage. Just absolute total garbage. The 5a has a rear capacitive fingerprint reader that still is considered one of the best ever. For me it was intuitive and had a darn near 100% success rate. This 10a gets it right about 15% of the time. I have redone them over and over with wet hands, dry hands, dirty hands, clean hands; I have tried different fingers and pushing harder or lighter. I even removed my brand new screen protector, as well as every other tip on the internet. It is still awful. Absurdly, horribly awful. I am not about to fight with my phone 500 times each day trying to get it unlocked, so I am forced to return it and look elsewhere. If you don’t use the fingerprint reader you may like this phone, but if having a fingerprint reader that doesn’t feel like winning the lottery on the rare occasion it works then DO NOT buy this device under any circumstances.

Title: Google pixel10a
Review: I dig this phone. Definitely better than my old one. It’s in my price range. Didn’t realize how much google phones evolved since my old googleNexus phone from 2012. Anyways 8gb of ram is enough for what I need to do. The device is not too thick, not is it to long, so it fits perfect for my hands to grasp completely. Better comfort for me. Connected to all my devices and applications with ease. Would recommend if you’re newcomer into the google devices. For people with older google phones looking for a budget, this one is good for you as well. Camera quality looks very well to me. Has a bunch of Ai features I’m excited to mess with.

Title: Best Pixel phone yet; great price
Review: Good: Just about everything, overall improvement on the Pixel 7 this replaced. Bright, sharp screen. Excellent sound quality with and without buds. Fast enough for my needs – I don’t do hardcore gaming on my phone, it’s fast enough for just about everything else. Sturdy, attractive housing; looks and feels good, metal / composite should be less delicate than the glass back on my old phone. Camera is great, I haven’t had this for very long but have yet to find a lighting or depth or motion situation it can’t cope with. Data transfer from the old phone was utterly painless. Very good price for what you get.Bad: It’s a rare occasion when I pick this thing up without getting push notifications about some feature that Google thinks I need to enable. Google is quickly becoming as bad as Microsoft in this regard. And, of course, they’re shoving AI down our throats, which I neither need nor want on my phone. Looking forward to seeing how much more battery life I get when I figure out how to disable it completely.Bottom line: My old Pixel 7 was nearing end of life – a couple of unfortunate drops have the glass back cracked all the way across and starting to crumble in one corner, the face has a couple of obvious scratches, and the battery rarely lasts more than a day of light use – so it was time to upgrade. Pixel phones in general have impressed me with performance and value, and this latest Pixel 10a is no exception. It isn’t top of the line, but if your phone isn’t your primary computer, which mine is not, so what? Just, Google, please back off on the “engagement” messages and AI obsession, OK? Five stars.
