Title: Comfortable Reading Fine Print from 7 to 14 Inches Away
Review: I purchased 4.0 High Magnification Power Readers. They have about an 8” focal length and I’m comfortable reading fine print on the page from 7 to 14 inches away.My computer screen is about 22 inches away, and the 4.0 High Magnification Power Readers are blurry to me at that distance, so I’m more comfortable using my 2.5+ reading glasses when I’m on the computer.I purchased these magnifying glasses so it would be easier for me to read books with fine print and they work great for that. They also work great for sheet music that is sometimes printed too small. These are good quality glasses and are the best magnifying glasses I’ve found. Yes, I would recommend these to a friend. In fact, I did recommend them to a friend.I also ordered the 4.5 and 5.0 versions of these glasses, and I’ll let you know how they work out.Update:The 4.5 magnification readers are comfortable for me to read fine print at from 7 to 12 inches away (focal length = 7”).The 5.0 magnification readers are comfortable for me to read fine print at from 7 to 11 inches away (focal length = 5½”).I didn’t see any appreciable difference in the clearness or size of the fine print when using the 4.0 magnification versus the 5.0 magnification. I use the 4.0 magnification to get a slightly greater focal range so it’s a little easier to hold the book at a comfortable distance.

Title: So Far So Good, Look at Box Label.
Review: I received the “grinderPUNCH Blue Light Reading Glasses 6X”. Shipping was timely, and shipped in a simple envelope. So far they appear in good shape, no damage in transport. I work with very small objects and having the 6X magnification in glasses improved depth perception vs simple magnifying glass. They are made of plastic, fit well and are comfortable but I have not had them long enough to determine if the hinges or the glasses are durable. Please note the warning label on the box (see images). They are made in China.

Title: Useless focal depth at 5x
Review: I purchased the 5x hoping to use for computer work and reading music on a piano. I expected to focal distance (distance between eyes and object being read) would be adjusted so that normal computer work, at least, would be possible. Not so. The focal distance for these was six inches, and with very little range before blurring. At 8 inches, blurry, at 15 inches, unreadable. So beware. So these are virtually useless unless I look at something only a few inches from my nose. In short, these are simple magnifying lenses with a shrinking focus range the higher the magnification. A 2x might give me the range for computer work but without much magnification. What I’m looking for is significant magnification at 24 inches or so and readable focus from 18 to 30 inches. These aren’t even close, even though they are built well enough to last.

Title: Perfect for paint by numbers
Review: I’ve been looking for glasses suitable to do paint by numbers and haven’t found what I needed until I found these. The numbers are very small as are some of the areas that need paint, and my regular reading glasses just aren’t strong enough to do the job. Consequently, I have several untouched pictures that I can now start working on. I just can’t believe the difference. I no longer have to struggle trying to read the number or wonder if I’m straying from the numbered area. The other advantage is in not having to bend my neck in order to read the numbers, which caused unnecessary neck strain and pain. These glasses have brought back the fun in my paint by numbers artwork.Update: I’ve been reading the reviews and I don’t think some of the bad reviews are warranted. The strength that works for you depends on what you want to use them for and the quality of your own eyes. If your eyesight isn’t very good for small print or detail, you may need a stronger strength. While I mostly use them for detail work that I mentioned previously, I do use them when reading very small print, and when I’m using my cell phone or iPad. I do not have to hold the reading material close to my face- some have said 3 inches from their face. I hold the book or phone as I normally would. It’s all about which strength works better for you – and that’s mostly trial and error. I bought quite a few pairs of glasses until I found which strength worked best for me. I actually have them in different strengths depending on what I’m using them for. My old eyes don’t adjust for different uses any more as they did when I was younger. The strength I wear when using my computer is different from the strength I wear when doing paint-by-numbers or needlepoint, and it’s different when I read depending on the size of the print. Just because a certain strength makes things look blurry doesn’t mean the glasses are junk – it just means you haven’t found the best strength that works for you and you need to try other strengths until you find the one that does work for you.

Title: Total Garbage! Second use breaks!
Review: Why did you pick this product vs others?:Total Garbage! Second use breaks! Plastic too thin. Compaired to the 6X glasses with the same fraim this one the area arround the lenses enxt to the bridgte where this one broke are almost twice as thick. These 4X ones could not hold up under opening hinge strength. Don’t know why same fraims ordered but this 4X one was way more junk. I use the 6X ones 15 to 20 times a day due to my vision but the second time useing the 4x and pop broken!

Review: Fits well large heads with big PD, clear view, all details are visible very well. As expected from 5x eyeglasses, working distance is rather short, nothing new with this. For an average working distance use 4x. Highly recommended.
