Title: good magnification, more convenient than holding a magnifying glass
Review: My mom has bad vision and these were like having a magnifying glass she didn’t have to keep holding in her hand. And for the really hard stuff (tiny print on a background almost the same color), she can supplement with an actual magnifying glass.

Title: A good product.
Review: I never have found 6 times strength reading glasses in a store, so I found what I needed on Amazon. I’ve only seen 3.25 strength in the stores. It’s just strong enough for my poor eyesight. It has a thick sturdy frame, too. I dropped it on a concrete floor that gave the right lens a light scratch, but I guess that is to be expected. It only came in this one style and color unfortunately but for the price, it’s a good product. I recommend it.

Title: Works as advertised
Review: I use these spectacles to inspect the ground glass of large format cameras to achieve critical focus. Works better than 6x magnification loupes! Comfortable to wear. And also priced well. I recommend wholeheartedly. Caution: take them off before walking around.

Title: They Totally Fell Apart Within Four Months
Review: UPDATE TO THE BELOW REVIEW: Both screws came out, completely, after only 4 months of light use. They were impossible to put back in, so I had to throw the glasses away. It’s too late for me to get a refund, so I am just out around $17. As you can read in my original video, the glasses came with a screwdriver; apparently it’s well known that the screws fall out.The screws holding these glasses together constantly loosen themselves. That’s why the seller includes a tiny screwdriver in the package. Because you will need it. I’m waiting for a screw to fall completely out, rendering these glasses completely useless. Also, they should be described as flimsy rather than light weight. Do not purchase! There is a lot sturdier brand available for the same price.

Title: These 6.00 are magnifying glasses, not reading glasses.
Review: What’s the difference? With these magnifiers, objects are only in focus within 8 inches of the lenses (I measured). So they’re great for things like threading a needle or removing a splinter. I specifically bought them to read the microscopically small print that some packaging has, print that I can’t even make out with my 2.00 progressive reading glasses. But most people hold a book about 15 inches away when reading; in that case you won’t see a thing with these. They’re great for their intended close-up purpose, and look well built, the arms and hinges look sturdy. I’m happy with them.
