Review: I’m older so I keep a magnifying glass right handy for reading small type and looking at tiny details.My old magnifying glass is so scratched up, I can’t see things very clearly through it any more.Time for a new one!This is what I picked.It’s all plastic, even the lens, but you’d never know it by how crisp and clear it makes things look.The handle is a softer type of plastic to feel smooth in your hand.There is a small hole at the end of the handle for hanging. It’s a pretty small hole, though, so you might loop a cable tie through it if your hook is too big to fit through the hole.I recommend hanging it up rather than throwing it in a drawer because that’s what gets them all scratched up.It’s not super-magnification but it’s suitable enough to make small printing, like instructions on food packaging, easier to read as well as for other details that you need to see more clearly.I think it’s a very affordable price, as well.
