Title: Excellent for Miniature Painting
Review: I have been an avid wargamer and miniature painter for most of my life. My wargaming club fell apart during the lock-downs and I put away my armies and paints for a few years. A few weeks ago, I decided I want to get back to painting…and I discovered that my eyesight had degraded quite a bit and even with my bifocals, I just couldn’t see the miniature well enough to paint it. So I ordered this magnifier and wow was that the right decision. It’s very comfortable to wear, even over my glasses, and it really works. The miniature is easy to see, even easier than when my eyes worked just fine. The only issue is that everything that isn’t 8″ from my face is a blurry mess, but the visor flips up and stays up. If you paint miniatures, get yourself one of these.

Review: No fue una buena compra. Para empezar se ve un producto de baja calidad, el plástico es barato. Los lentes no son fáciles de intercambiar. Para poder ver bien hay que acercarse mucho al objeto que se quiere observar. Terminé abandonándolo y comprando otro.

Title: Very useful tool to see small things
Review: I bought it to work on watches. Wearing two eye-loupes wasn’t working out for me, they kept falling out of my eye socket, plus I looked really weird.With the different magnifications it was easy to find one useful for watch work, although some fine work I find a microscope is a better tool.Where these are REALLY useful is reading small print. From an owner’s manual for a car, to prescription labels – this is REALLY a good thing to have. It should be handed out to everyone on Medicare gratis. Wonderful for that purpose (probably better than for working on watches.)

Title: DO NOT PURCHASE!! UTTER GARBAGE!!
Review: What did I dislike:1. Right out of the box, the adjustment mechanism on the headband didn’t move. I had to take the adjustment mechanism apart, move the headbands to a position that would fit my head, and then reassemble the adjustment mechanism. The band now fits my head but is still not adjustable.2. The glass lens is held to the fram of the magnifier by TINY PLASTIC PLUGS, not plastic screws, not metal screwns. I’ve had the tiny plastic plugs pop-out five times now while trying to solder some very tiny components and the glass lens fell out of the magnifier. That lead to stopping the work I was doing and searching on my hands and knees for tiny, grey plastic plug (approximately the size of a grain of rice) so I could re-attach the glass lens and continue soldering.THIS PRODUCT IS COMPLETE GARBAGE. DO NOT PURCHASE!I’m considering using super glue to attach the glass lens to the magnifier frame so that I can get this project finished…but if I do, I won’t be able to use the other glass lenses that shipped with the magnifier.COMPLETE. GARBAGE.
