Title: Great solution for sports
Review: My husband wears hearing aids and is always cautious when doing active sports like sailing or boating. His hearing aids are expensive and he doesn’t want to accidentally lose one in the water. These hearing aid covers and lanyard or a perfect solution. He wears Phillips hearing aids and these covers fit perfectly. They are lightweight and soft against his skin. He says he barely knows that they are there. Have any added security of the covers and lanyard will make it an easier decision for him to wear his hearing aids when he’s outdoors and active. One of the other reasons he hesitates to wear his hearing aids while active is that the salt from his sweat is very corrosive for hearing aid batteries. These covers should help protect his devices from sweat.

Title: Functional But Has Drawbacks
Review: I have mixed feelings about these hearing aid covers. On one hand, they are functional but on the other hand, they are not very attractive and can only be used on certain models.I recently visited with my brother in a western city that is known to rain more than 50% out of the year. I thought it would be prudent to order these and use to make sure my hearing aids were not damaged due to rain. And I have to say I was pleasantly surprised the covers did so well. Even though my hair would get wet, it didn’t seep into the hearing aid causing any type of damage. For the simple cost of under $20, I think it’s definitely worth it to save very expensive hearing aids when needing them protected against rain or sweat.One complaint, however, is that they are not very attractive. The colors come in grey, dark brown, medium brown or light brown. Not a lot of variety. But that’s not really the larger issue of the very obvious stitching that stands out and looks unpleasant.Otherwise, the covers are soft, comfortable, cut down wind noise and a bit flexible since they are made of 20% Spandex. This is important so they can be placed on the hearing aid without damaging it. The item also comes with a lanyard and the covers have small grommets to fit the lanyard ends through it. Most covers don’t have that as an option so this one has a feature that makes it stand out above the rest in that regard.One thing to keep in mind is that these covers are not for all types of hearing aids and it is not shown in the description above. Some hearing aids have tubes that lead to the ear that are not detachable and/or the piece that goes in your ear is too large to feed through the cover, so keep that in mind prior to ordering. Another issue is that it is more difficult to set the volume control on your hearing aid due to the cover concealing the controls and it can be cumbersome adjusting the control with the covers on.Overall, the product does as intended but has some drawbacks and they can be significant ones depending on the type of hearing aid you use. As such, I can only give it 2.5 stars but will round up to 3 since half stars are not possible.

Review: These covers are good and fit well. Ordered to see what the difference would be and hearing aid sound is still the same. So these do protect the hearing aids but not sure why I would have them on when wearing them.

Title: These are fantastic for active hearing aid users!
Review: These are such a fantastic idea! I’d had a similar product recommended before, but I think these are even better than the more expensive name brand. They have the water resistant covers for the electrical component, and the strap not only connects the hearing aids, but also has a clip that attaches to the back of a shirt. It’s great for active people, for sports, but especially for outdoor activities when the hearing aids are at the greatest risk of loss or damage. If you have hearing aids and are outdoorsy or have a cold with hearing aids, definitely get these!

Title: Practical and Reliable. Works Exactly as Described
Review: I bought these hearing aid covers for my husband, and they’ve been a solid solution. The set includes waterproof sweat covers and soft cloth sleeves that fit well and attach securely to the included lanyard with clips, helping prevent loss. The material feels durable yet comfortable. My husband appreciates how well they function, though he still feels they stand out a bit and isn’t fully comfortable wearing them in public. He just started wearing hearing aids 4months ago and still adjusting, so I think in time he will become more comfortable In public wearing the lanyard and cover. Overall, they do exactly what they promise, which is to protect hearing aids, keep them secure, and are very easy to use.

Title: Good idea for protection but limited for use
Review: These hearing aid covers are constructed well to provide protection from the elements. As I have receiver-in-canal style devices with attached leads, a problem exists. Unfortunately the narrow end of the cover is not flexible enough to allow the leads to thread through for wearing while still attached. As a result they only fit my devices in a backward fashion and the lanyard connection is defeated.Some devices may have leads designed for removal and replacement by the wearer. For those, these covers are a good alternative for protection in poor weather or dusty conditions.An indication in the product description that leads must be removed for installation and use would be helpful to determine if the covers can be correctly worn.I plan to use these this winter while clearing the snow from my roadway, even with this limitation.
