Title: Easy way to keep hearing aids sanitized
Review: Really like the ability to just toss my hearing aids in this sanitizer when I don’t have time to thoroughly clean them. It has multiple functions, but I think the main purpose is just sanitizing with heat and UV light. I have been using it on and off over the last few months with no damage to my hearing aids and no issues with the sanitizer.

Title: Sanitizer; wish it fit the charging station
Review: My hearing aids are similar to ear buds and they come in a charging case/stand that is pretty low profile (like a hockey puck) that allows them to recharge overnight while I sleep. I should have looked at the interior dimensions on this hearing aid sanitizer before getting it, because I had hoped that I could use it as a UV sanitizer for my hearing aids while they sat in their charging cradle. Unfortunately, it’s too low a ceiling for that–the interior of the box is just tall enough for the hearing aids themselves, and not their charger. This means I have to pick whether to put them in this sanitizer and dryer overnight, or in their charger, since I can’t do both.In spite of that, it does seem to work well. It has a slow, low heat option (either 2 hours or 8 hours, and two temperature settings) to make sure that the hearing aids dry out thoroughly, in addition to the UV light to kill anything that might be trying to make a home in them. It’s nice to ensure that the sweat gets evaporated away, without getting so hot that there’s a risk to the electronics. Given that it’s $56 and doesn’t fit my charging base, though, I will probably end up looking for a different version eventually.

Title: good gift, only comes with USB-C cable
Review: The box looks attractive, this was a gift for someone that uses hearing aids. He says that it’s easy to use and likes that his hearing aid dries within 2-4 hours. He usually uses it at night when he’s reading before bed. He’s not sure how to verify if the UV light works on disinfecting. The device uses low heat to dry the items inside.

Title: NOT an “Air Blower”!!!; Works by heat (warm air rises); UV sterilizing also provided.
Review: NOT an “Air Blower”!!!; Works by heat (e.g. warm air rises); UV sterilizing also provided.___Description for this is WRONG: Not an “air BLOWER” Nothing is blowing any air: There is no fan, no motor, no air bladder, etcetera). The only and very minimal air action comes from the inside heating/warming up to a gentle heat. Warm air does rise, but that is not what “air blowing” means in English!___If you are still interested in this, here is the review of this air dryer. This works by heating up the container to one of 2 heat settings (30 & 40 centigrade aka 86 & 104 degrees Fahrenheit). You choose how long it runs: either a 2 or 8 hours. Drying needs time to work, because, as already stated, it dries by making your items (hearing aids, earbuds, etcetera) warm. It would work best if your devices are as opened (if possible) so as the air inside warms it can carry the moisture away. High heat can damage electronics, so these temperatures seem safe, IMHO.___You have the option of running an ultraviolet (UV) led light (there are 2 tiny LED’s). The UV lights are most effective when your objects (tooth brush, retainer, dentures, earbuds, hearing aids) are as close as possible to the light, so consider that as you position things. The UV lights run on their own time, not the 2/8 hours that the warmer does. It’s just a few minutes for the UV timing.___Mine came charged, and there is both a USB-C cord (both ends) for charging, and a port on the back to charge this when needed.___No instructions, but the operation was intuitive.___2 star because it is advertised as an “Air BLOWER” and it does not do that, at all!!!! UV, timer and heater do work.___If this were sold as an “Air Dryer” this would be 4 star, but it is not sold that way at this time.

Title: Support was available and helpful
Review: My spouse got hearing aids a few years ago and they’ve been a Godsend. I’m actually jealous because of all the things modern hearing aids can do like sync to your phone, block out ambient noise, etc. He hasn’t had many issues with them, and those that he has had got tended to by professionals very quickly. They’ve really changed both our lives for the better. When I came across this Hearing Aid Dryer I was very curious about it. Not one of the doctors or other hearing aid specialists had ever mentioned that this product (or one like it) might be beneficial. But after reading the description on Amazon, I decided that a device like this might come it very handy. I figured that keeping his hearing aids as bacteria-free and clean could only be logical for health reasons.Although I wasn’t crazy about the price tag of the product (nearly $70 – and that was on sale), I got it anyway. When I gave it to him, he had absolutely no idea what is was, what it did, or how to use it. He called the hotline that was included with the vague instruction booklet and spoke with a representative who explained to him that hearing aids naturally collect moisture from being inside the ear canal for hours at a time. This moisture can create a bacterial buildup that could cause health issues. This device kills germs with UV light and dries out the hearing aids so nothing nasty can grow in/on them. He was sold and used the product that evening according to the directions the rep gave him.He later confessed that he really thought his hearing aids were performing better after they were cleaned and dried. He uses it several times a week because he likes the results and it takes almost no effort at all. He says the only thing that could make the product better is if it doubled as a charging station. But as it is, I feel that it was money well-spent despite the initial sticker-shock. Recommended.
