It needs to be replaced from every week to every month, depends on the ear canal condition. Different people have different ear canal conditions. The filter should be replaced BEFORE it is full of ear wax or dust. Or the speaker of the hearing aid will probably be blocked.
It could work for MOST CIC, ITC, ITE and RIC(RITE or RIE) hearing aids from Phonak, Widex, Unitron, MD Hearing, Hearig Assist, and a PART from Resound, Beltone, Oticon.

Review: they are perfect but I bought enough of them to last a lifetime or more. They go a long way as you get one pack with the starter kit, you also get just what you need with the subscription. You have to get the subscription plan to keep your warranty.

Title: Gets stuck in Resound hearing aid receiver wire
Review: These were supposed to work with Resound. I now have one clogged and am unable to remove it from my receiver wire! Waste of money for my Resound hearing aids. I do not recommend this product for Resound hearing aids.

Review: Unfortunately, these didn’t fit my Phonak Paradise P90 HA. I was disappointed as I liked the style of how the wax guards came on a plastic stick with a removal receptical on one end and installation tool on the other end. They come in a nice thin case with several guards in each case.
