Title: Discreet and Effective Hearing Solution
Review: These hearing aids are a fantastic choice for anyone with severe hearing loss. The 16-channel digital technology provides crystal-clear sound, while the noise reduction ensures conversations are easy to follow. The compact, invisible design is comfortable and discreet, and the rechargeable case is super convenient for on-the-go use. A reliable, high-quality device that makes a noticeable difference!

Title: You get what you pay for.
Review: These amplify sounds well. However I found the lowest setting to even be too loud at times. Feedback and squeals are a frequent issue.

Title: If you want to hear better do not get these!
Review: These are not worth the money I paid for them. They are very hard to adjust and make work correctly. They hum and have a high pitch sound when in use. I could not get them for fit right either. They are very uncomfortable. They have little clarity when in the ears. I cannot use these at all.

Title: Must have
Review: Is your dad stubborn? Deaf as a post but won’t admit it? Mine’s the same, so I got him these, he loves ’em, they work great, and the case is handy. Didn’t cost a fortune, and he’s finally getting his hearing checked at the hospital.

Title: Above average
Review: I have reviewed 7 or 8 hearing amplifiers/hearing aids for Vine priced from $40 to $99. None of them, including this one, is truly a hearing aid in the sense that it is fitted and adjusted by a trained professional. But then, they do not cost $thousands. They otherwise make sound louder, and none of them, including this one, have very clear and balanced sound.I use a $50 in the ear amplified mostly, so I tested the Starviky against it. (where do they come up with these names?) $50 vs $99.They both have tinny sound compared to real hearing, but that’s the best you can expect in this price line. The in the ear amplifier has better resolution for ordinary sounds, but the SV had more natural sounding human voice when set on the #2 Indoor Mode. The SV was also easier to adjust while wearing. When it comes to visibility, the in the ear model is less noticeable, even though the SV claims to be “invisible”Both claim to the noise cancelling but how does an inexpensive hearing amplifier determine what is noise to you. Sound is sound. Ear buds can use electronic noise cancelling, because the sound you want to hear comes from an external electronic source. The SV charging case is nice in that it is easy to open and indicates the charging percentage for each device. Comes with a C cable, too.So, for the money, the SV hearing amplifier is an above average device compared to the others I tested. It has reduced squeal because, in part, it gives you a 10 sec delay to insert into the ear canal.Hearing loss occurs for many reasons, and a doctor’s exam is in order. What works for one and what sounds good may not be the same for everyone. But I will go 4 Stars on the SV hearing amplifier. P.S., the in the ear model I like is no longer available.

Title: decent ear amplifiers, if that’s all you need
Review: 1/14/2025: (STARVIKY Brand) Hearing Aids Hearing Amplifiers for Seniors & Adults, Rechargeable with Noise-Canceling and 3 Selectable Modes, Invisible Lightweight Ear Amplifiers for Mild to Severe Hearing Loss, with Charging CaseThese are pretty good, but you should set your expectations appropriately. These are simple hearing amplifiers, which raise the volume of all frequencies. If you have overall hearing loss at all frequencies, these would be great for more quiet environments (like if you’re just watching tv or having a conversation with one or maybe 2 people), but in a louder environment the background noise will also be amplified and these will not be as useful. They claim to have a chip to filter out background noise and feedback, and maybe it works well compared to other hearing amplifiers (I don’t have other amplifiers to compare these against), but they don’t cut out enough background noise for me to use in a noisy environment. My hearing loss is only in the lower frequencies but it’s not bad enough for me to go and spend thousands of dollars on hearing aids. I thought maybe an amplifier would work, but when I make them loud enough to help with the low frequencies, all of the other frequences become too loud for me. So they didn’t help me much, though I can see them being useful to other people in specific situations. They did fit comfortably in my ears, and I like the charging case a lot. I did not charge them when they arrived, and the battery lasted fine through all of my testing. I did not try using them for hours and hours so I can’t really comment on battery life though.I wish I could give these 3.5 stars. 3 seems low considering they don’t claim to be anything more than amplifiers anyway, but I can’t give 4 stars to something I can’t really use.

Title: You get what you pay for
Review: I was not impressed with the sound quality and thought it made everything sound tinny and not natural. I can’t say that my hearing is bad enough to need hearing aids, but I wanted to see if they help since I think I lost some hearing sensitivity due to the many years of playing drums. I also did not like that they get uncomfortable to wear after a few hours of use. I just can’t see these being a good solution for someone how really needs hearing aids. They are bulky and very noticeable. I hope that helps.
