Title: Good stereo over Bluetooth, fairly good hearing mode
Review: I had a couple bumps getting started. First, the app downloaded through the QR code in the instruction manual wouldn’t install on my Samsung Galaxy phone. I learned through other users that the app is called ForSound and is available in the regular app store. I was able to install it from there. The next bump came with Bluetooth, it connected to my streaming stick and sounded quite nice there. But when connected to my phone there was only sound coming from the right ear though there were 2 entries for them in my Bluetooth devices list showing both connected. I decided to try repairing so I unpaired both, scanned for devices and only 1 entry came up. When I connected to that single entry they started working in both earpieces, so check that if you get these and have that issue. As far as sound, I’ve had a number of OTC amplifiers (up to $150 or so) and listening to TV sounded being like in a bucket or listening to someone’s loud TV in another room. I use a portable boombox style Bluetooth speaker for the sound with my streaming stick and they sit about 6 feet in front of me. Normally they run loud enough to be heard outside my door, I turned them down to low volume and with these hearing aids not only was the sound clear they separated the stereo channels way more than listening to the speakers directly and I had to check to make sure I hadn’t inadvertently reconnected to the music mode through the stick, it was that good with the channel separations. These are definitely the most comfortable to wear set I’ve had. I wear readers a lot so the ear pieces don’t feel out of place and the tips are quite comfortable. I could never wear the 1-piece earbud types very long even for the things they were good at like listening to birds outside, with these before I knew it I had watched several full shows with my TV volume not broadcasting through the walls for the first time in a long time.I find the app clunky, on my phone the volume controls tend to jump several numbers and take a bit to get where I want them, I just took the time to familiarize how to do the settings directly on the devices and likely will rarely use the app.I have loud tinnitus (pulsing high frequency tone type) so I thought these might help with that but the tinnitus mode just introduced some white noise while diminishing everything else that I found distracting so that function does not help me.Overall I am happy with these and they will actually get use unlike the several I’m not sure why I still have in a drawer.

Title: Great hearings at a reasonable price.
Review: I have tried several of the OTC hearing aids and I found these to be the best. They have a great phone app that allows customization as well as being able to maneuver from hearing adis to bluetooth. I highly recommend.

Title: Below average
Review: I give this set 2.5 stars for the hearing amplification, but these are a pass for me. This set comes with everything you need to use and maintain these devices. The charging box can recharge them about three times. They turn on when removed from the box and off when replaced in the box. I put them on for the first time and they were squealing on the lowest volume setting, but stopped after a few seconds and would re-occur at random. There are four settings General, Indoor (boosts the sound), Outdoor (lowers noise), and Tinnitus (passive sound). Tinnitus mode just makes these passive sound devices. It doesn’t make noises to cover the tinnitus and it doesn’t amplify the outside noise to cover it, so it did nothing for me at all. There is an app, ForSound, that is available for both apple and android. It is available in the app stores, so if you don’t want to use the direct link provided, you can get it by searching your app store. It is a very basic app. You can take a simple hearing test, or enter your own audiogram, adjust the volume in each device, change the mode, and on the advanced tab adjust the finer details, such as various noise suppression options and low to high frequency levels.I could not get the app to work consistently with my new Samsung android phone. The devices would pair with the phone through bluetooth, but then the app wouldn’t recognize them, even when the phone did. Only the left one would work with phone calls and neither would work for other audio on my phone. The hearing part was ok. I was able to hear the tv and speech pretty clearly (I have moderate hearing loss) and these devices can get very loud even on lower settings. For this price range though, I expect far more than simple amplification, no active tinnitus feature options, a basic app that doesn’t work well, not being able to hear phone audio, and only one device working with phone calls. I would recommend searching for other options.
