Title: FDA listed (proof herein); great fit and sound; the first time tinnitus masking works for me!
Review: These hearing aids really surprised me in the most important, positive ways possible. Having tried and reviewed many (many) hearing aids these are by far the best of this style that I have encountered, and are near the top of my list of any style of hearing aids. Here’s why:GREAT FIT / COMFORT – Until trying these hearing aids, this style has never fit me very well, either not sitting in my ear well enough for quality sound, feeling insecure (like they are going to fall out) or both. These fit great and the sound quality rivals the better BTE (behind the ear) RIC (receiver in canal) style. They were “invisible” to those facing me, but not from the side; that is about as good as it gets for this style as they are not really meant to (and do not claim to) be “invisible” from all angles.EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY – As just noted above, these aids are tops in terms of being close to “life-like” for this style and compare very favorably to the BTE RIC style aids.EASY TO USE / NO FEEDBACK -Smaller hearing aids can be a challenge regarding feedback (squealing / screeching) as it is hard to avoid accidentally covering the mic. I experienced no feedback at all putting them on / removing them, or in using the one-button controls. It is easy to use the buttons; they are easy to click without needing too much pressure. Short clicks are for selecting one of the six volume levels. Pressing and holding down the button three seconds switches between the five hearing modes (Normal, Restaurant, Outdoor, Music, and Tinnitus). All of the volume levels and modes have helpful voice prompts when selected. There are differences between the modes (they all sounded good to me but I need to do much more experimenting on choosing settings.TINNITUS MASKING THAT IS ACTUALLY HELPFUL TO ME – I have never found any type of Tinnitus masking that has helped me in years of searching. When I saw these had a Tinnitus mode, I expected nothing; happily, I was wrong. These are not a cure, but for me the sound, which is along the lines of static but smother (not harsh) is really helpful and the best way to explain it is they (as listed) mask the Tinnitus ringing sounds; it doesn’t stop the sounds or fully make them something I don’t hear but it is very pleasant and a real help. And the masking sound can be adjusted to one of six levels of volume. I may be wearing these to get to sleep at bedtime (after reading up on this type of making).BATTERY – The included User Manual only states a charged battery will last 25 hours. The Ceretone website also mentions a 25-hour battery life AND a total life of 100 hours, meaning the charging case can charge the hearing aids 3 additional times without the need to be plugged in using a power cord.FDA LISTED – These hearing aids are the model name “Torch” and FDA listed under “Classification Name: HEARING AID, AIR-CONDUCTION, OVER THE COUNTER”.□.Proof / references are (using Google searches):❶ Ceretone is owned by Audicon (the same hearing aids model numbers differ by company):◦ Search “Ceretone at CES 2025: Experience the Future of Hearing Technology”, then click the first result. That page makes it clear Ceretone is part of Audicon.❷ The Ceretone hearing aids box is labeled “Model “CE-A18A”. They are listed as on the Ceretone website as “Ceretone Torch”.◦ Search “Ceretone Torch, then click the first result. The page on the Ceretone page that appears displays the same product.❸.Audicon Torch (Ceretone CE-A18A) is registered on the FDA website.◦ Search “FDA Quick Search”, then click the first result. On the FDA page that appears, in the “Quick Search” box type “Audicon Torch” and click the “Quick Search” button. FDA results appear in a table; “Audicon Torch” is in the right column of the 4th row; click the link with the word “Ceretone”, and the next page shows the official FDA registration listing of “Ceretone Torch (“CE-A18A) hearing aids.INCLUDED – In addition to the 2 hearing aids (right with red base and blue for the left), is the charging / storage case, a USB C charging cord, 4 differently-sized pairs of silicone ear tips, a cleaning tool / brush, and a User Manual.OVERALL, these moderately priced hearing aids are the best of this style of the very significant number of hearing aids I have tried and reviewed and compare very well to all styles of hearing aids I have used. Ceretone (US) and the parent company (Audicon, Canada) seem to be well-entrenched in the business; a big plus to me. I am very happily surprised with these hearing aids and would definitely recommend them to family and friends for serious consideration.

Title: Decent hearing assist device for a reasonable price.
Review: These OTC hearing aids are well represented in the photos and description. The have a rechargeable case the extends the usage on the go. A must for any device like this. The sound quality is fine. Hearing aids are limited by the sized of the speaker they can put in such a small device. They are easy to use and the control button is easy to use due to its size and location. It comes with multiple ear tips so a good fit is easy enough to get with some experimentation.Good device to help in reduced hearing situations. Great for watching TV with others!

Title: Easy to put in / Don’t fall out or get loose / Great Price
Review: Very comfortable in ear hearing aids. I love that I don’t have to deal with the battery on the backside of my ear that get’s caught in my ear and sometimes gets pulled out on accident due to a brush of something. This pair of aids are easy to know which to put in which ear Left or Right since they are colored blue and red.I have to say that I do have to charge them everyday or else they will go dead. Definitely a great price as compared to those expensive other ones at hearing centers!

Title: Great Hearing Aids for the value
Review: We ordered these for my mother and after watching my her navigate the world of hearing aids for years, trying out quite a few different models along the way, I have to say, these moderately priced ones from Ceretone have genuinely impressed us. Among all the styles and brands she’s experimented with, these particular devices really hold their own, even standing up remarkably well against some of the much more expensive options. From what I’ve seen, they truly offer excellent value for their cost.Where they truly excel for her is in everyday situations. Things like watching TV or having a chat in a quiet room have become noticeably easier for her to manage, which is wonderful to witness. She’s still getting accustomed to them in more bustling environments, though; crowds and outdoor settings aren’t quite as clear for her yet, but that might just be part of the adjustment process. One small detail I did notice, which I think would be a smart addition, is that her set didn’t come with the red or blue indicators for left and right ears – that would certainly make quick identification much simpler for her. It’s good to know that Ceretone appears to be a well-established company in this field, and that definitely adds to our family’s confidence in their product. All things considered, we’re incredibly pleased with how these hearing aids are working out for her, and I would absolutely suggest them to family and friends who are looking into options.

Title: Nice fit and chargable
Review: My wife thinks I’m starting to lose my hearing and we ordered these Ceretone hearing aids and amplifier. These are pretty small but work nicely and do fit into my ears with ease and can’t even feel them when inserted.Decent sound quality but I can hear lots of backgroud noises like birds chirping outside if the windows are open and can even hear things in other rooms of the house, so since I’m not that hard of hearing these actually amplify things way to much right now.Comes with convenient charging/storage case. The hearing aids can last up to 25 hours or so on one charge according to the packaging. I’ve only ever wore them for maybe 2-4 hours at a time.

Review: Bon traitement du son sans trop de réverbération. Dommage qu’il ne soit pas Bluetooth car obliger d’en enlever un lorsqu’on parle au téléphone sinon réverbération.
