Title: The sound volume at the very lowest minimal setting is way too loud and very harmful to ones ears.
Review: I would like to be able to return this hearing aid that we purchased for my 85 year old mother. The sound volume at the very low minimal setting is way too loud and my mother says it actually hurts her ears. It is way too loud no matter what mode it is being set at. We purchased this to help my mother to be able to better hear people talking to her and to help her to hear the TV better but instead she mentioned that it sounds like she is in a tunnel and there is echoing and screeching sounds that she hears. It seems like sounds occurring in her house are heard more defined and she can barely hear the TV even with the TV set at a higher volume setting. As such for the reasons as outlined, we would like the opportunity to be able to return this hearing aid as we are afraid that the very high volume coming from the hearing aid being set at the lowest volume setting and the screeching noises that occur from time to time can be harmful and further cause damage to my mother’s ears. You only have the option to further increase the volume from the lowest setting which is already way too loud for her. I also tried the hearing aid out to verify what my mother was saying and confirmed the hearing aid loudness was hurtful to the ears. Considering when this hearing aid was delivered, we should have been allowed to return this up through 06/26/25 when we tried to return this today but the system is saying the cutoff for some reason was set instead for 06/24/25.

Review: I usually take out my hearing aids after a few hours because my ears get sore, but not with these. The silicone tips are super gentle. I wore them during a 6-hour road trip and didn’t feel the urge to remove them once.
