Review: The large glass is nice and the light is also nice. The smaller 45x lens has an EXTREMELY short focal length, like 1 inch, making it very difficult to use. Overall, a nice magnifier for the price with the exception of the 45x lens.

I’m in my 50s and while I just need moderate readers I happen to be reading a certain small format book that has 2 font sizes tiny which I can read and miniscule which i struggle with. This handy magnifying glass solved the problem and will be useful for soldering or fiddly repair jobs etc. Nothing to complain about , its an old school magnifying glass in a sturdy plastic frame . Well worth the price and the led lights are a nice addition and are nice and bright. No soft light tho. The magnifying glass appears to be real glass and not plastic by the weight and its cold to the touch another giveaway. The little one on the handle is plastic. It works ok but you need to be close to the object or text you are looking at or it inverts the image. So if you want a proper decent magnifying glass with a light this 8s the one to go for

Review: Only had this for two days, so can’t comment on durability – beyond saying it seems to be well made. The description the main lens as x3 area magnification seems fair, as does the description of the lighting as “super-bright”, even though there ere only two LEDs for the main lens plus one for the small one. It is also fairly described as “lightweight”, relative to other similar products. It is noticeably lighter, though this is helped by a lens diameter of only 7mm, while many others are closer to 8mm.
